"No, I remembered no such thing." Rowan looked away and started walking again, startling the woman. Ana blinked. He did not remember it? How could that be possible?

"Rowan, you were wearing white shirt and blue breeches I have chosen for you. You even laughed when Garrison complained that we were wearing matching clothes without including him. 

He said that he is always ignored when we are together. Your smile.. It was priceless that time. Are you sure you do not remember it?" Rowan felt trouble walking. His lungs had trouble breathing and his eyes had trouble in watching the road ahead.

His body sting, his heart sting and so do his eyes. The woman was using his old memories. They were so distant that they did not feel real, but a dream. It was when his mother did not have Nicholas. When she only loved him. But how did this woman know about those memories? More than that? What did she want to achieve by telling him about them?
