Adrienne was unaware of Ayla's predicament, though she knew Myrtle's mother was raising Ayla's newborn son. She was busy with the growing demands of her career and personal life. Adrienne hadn't heard anything about Ayla lately but assumed she was just caught up in the joys and challenges of motherhood.
