Just as Adrienne said, her cousin, Ayla Jiang, was having a meltdown that night in her bedroom. She trashed everything in sight and screamed like a wild animal. The usually calm and composed Ayla seemed completely overwhelmed by her emotions, as if something had pushed her to the edge. It was a heartbreaking sight for Maryam, who had never seen her daughter in such a state before. 

The cast for the film "Time After Time" was just announced, and Ayla won't be playing the female lead role. Ayla had been confident she could secure the role because of the excellent feedback she received from the panel during her audition. Though she knew and had heard about Sofia Yun, she never considered the other actress a threat.
