It wasn't long before Uncle Shark learned that the men following Adrienne were the mercenaries Waylen Jiang hired to deal with Adrienne. The gravity of the situation hung heavily over them as Adrienne and Hunter received the news. 

Thankfully, they convinced their grandfather to return to his room and retire for the night, as the clock was approaching midnight. Irina, Kalista, and Leigh returned once Old Master Zhao left and Uncle Shark had just arrived from his recent errand. 

"What do you want to do now, little girl? Your uncle seems to have had enough of you extorting him for money. Now he wants to get rid of you for good." Uncle Shark asked curiously, noticing the seriousness on Hunter's face while their young miss remained calm and collected, as if the threat hovering over her didn't bother her at all. 

"You know their boss, Uncle Shark?" Adrienne raised a brow at him. Uncle Shark chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Oh, I know hi, alright."
