A cool breeze could be felt during the night as autumn nears, making the weather colder as days pass. The entire estate was still buzzing with people as the servants were hustling to prepare their masters' luggage.

Under the dim light, Adrienne held a book as she read slowly while leaning on the couch. She read the passages in her textbook that Lennox highlighted yesterday for her to read and understand. She was so deep in a trance that she didn't notice her tea had already turned cold.

Mother Wang closed the French doors of Adrienne's room and glanced at her young miss. She observed the changes that had become more apparent in a short span of time. Her young miss had become a person she could barely recognize. Even now, the fact that Adrienne was reading was unusual.
