"Silence!" a voice of authority interrupted. It wasn't loud, but the calm tone carried undeniable command.
"Enough bickering! We're here because of our shared interests, not to quarrel," said another masked figure, his voice laden with authority. He wore a carnival mask, concealing all identifying features, as his entire body was covered in robes.
