Chapter 72: Enemy at the Gates, Part 2

"All right... let's go boss hunting." I spoke these words with the confidence of a guy who'd already seen the ending once, although I doubted any of my friends — I can call them friends now that we've shared blood, sweat, and tears — realized this fact about me. 

Still, it wasn't like finding a boss in all this chaos was going to be easy for us. Moving around the line would also be a challenge. 

On the right-most edge of our southern defensive line, ten defenders were already trying to keep a cluster of powerful monsters from breaking into camp and flanking our center. Incidentally, both Anal and Ms. Ives—the raven-haired green cloak—were part of this group, which told me I shouldn't expect much from a group where Anal was doing the tanking.
