Chapter 225: "Then we'll defeat them together"

"Discard all your devices, everything." 

Crystal's brows rose, but he complied, removing his equipment. Despite this, Jonathan remained wary. He scanned him from head to toe with a scanner before saying, "Let's go."

"Moss, wake Falcon and have him leave for now," Jonathan instructed through the Data Manipulation.

"Done, I've sent a housebot to rouse him. He's exiting the safehouse now."

Jonathan led Crystal through a maze of streets and alleys for quite a distance before arriving at a concealed location. He opened a spatial vortex, saying, "Get in."

Crystal glanced at him and silently stepped into the vortex.

When he emerged, he found himself in a simply decorated lounge with a bathroom, living room, and resting areas.

Clover lay curled up on the sofa, deeply asleep.

He softened his breaths, moving closer to examine his face for a long time.
