Chapter 90: Behind the scenes?

A bold idea emerged in Max's mind that these two might be connected as he looked at Sia . But this alone wasn't enough to be sure so Max decided to take a guess. 

"Who do you work for? "

Max asked suddenly. 

"What? Of course I am the boss myself. "

Sia said uneasily. 

"No, that tattoo on your neck, I ... "

Max tried to probe further. 

"What about the tattoo? What do you know? "

As soon as she heard him mention the tattoo, Sia suddenly looked at him vigilantly and asked angrily. 

"Listen, Detective. It's for your own good that you don't meddle in these things. There are some things you can't mess with."

Sia also realised her own gaffe and calmed down subsequently.
