Chapter 76: Chapter 76: Detective Work
A few days had passed since then, and Caspian had already investigated the victim's girlfriend and gotten most of her information. After some briefing of the evidence, they were able to successfully confirm and deal with getting the warrant for arresting the suspect in his current murder case.
He then talked with Abby about the matter to help him with the arrest.
"Oh, yeah. Let's go then," Abby smiled as she twirled the key chain on her finger.
"Thanks, Abby," Caspian smiled back as he switched his expression into a serious one, ready to face anything.
They wasted no further time as they headed to the suspect's home along some backup and quickly arrived at a significantly populated residential area of the Wakefield District. With a nod, Abby and Caspian exited the car and beckoned their fellow officers.
The both of them walked up to the door, and Caspian knocked on it lightly and asked, "Hello? Is anyone home?"
