Chapter 197: Captive

Daybreak was soon made possible as I woke up to one of the most peaceful sleep that I have gotten in a long time. It was no doubt that the blue river must had have something to do with it. 

I tried stretching my limbs but was immediately put on hold when I felt a strong masculine arm wrapped around my waist. At first, it almost made me have a panic attack until the realization that it was Gabriel dawned unto me.

Sigh. My second day as captive, what could possibly go wrong? 

"You are not my captive, my love. I think reverse is the case, you are the one caging my heart but I do not want to be set free." 

Those words were enough to scare the life out of me. How the heck did he find out my thoughts? It was then that I realized that Gabriel had also read my thoughts the previous night.

If he could really do that, then, he must had heard a lot of bad things but chose to remain quiet.
