Chapter 26 Heartache
"Miranda! How did you get here?" That sentence came out of Aaron Liu's mouth when he met his ex-fiancée.
His heart was even more torn apart when he saw that her stomach seemed to be growing. It had been some time since Aaron Liu had seen his ex-fiancée, Miranda Choi, several months pregnant.
The woman walked up to a man who was supposed to be her husband. However, a calamity that had befallen the Liu Family made her abandon her future husband.
Miranda Choi didn't want a poor man to be her husband. She dumped Aaron Liu and got together with a rich man better than her future husband.
"Why can't I be here, Aaron? This is my home and also my future husband. Do you want to live in this compound too?" Miranda Choi deliberately said that to throw insults at her ex-fiancé. "Don't dream you can come back to live here! Are you a courier now?" she teased when she saw him carrying a luxury box.
"How did you get that pregnant? Haven't we only been separated for a short while?" Aaron Liu guessed that the woman was already pregnant before they parted ways. Moreover, her stomach looked large if she was only a month pregnant.
Instead, the woman laughed contemptuously. Miranda threw a cynical look at a man who had been so stupid. To her, Aaron Liu was just a money tree. The man she loved was undoubtedly not her ex-fiancé.
Aaron Liu was even more puzzled at the ex-fiancée's exaggerated response. It was as if she was hurling hurtful insults at him.
"Are you stupid, Aaron? Of course, I'm pregnant with my current husband-to-be. You're too stupid and don't know I'm just using you," Miranda Choi explained firmly. She had nothing to cover up in front of a man who was already very poor.
"So... all this time, you have betrayed me, Miranda. Didn't you say you loved me very much?" Aaron Liu still couldn't believe that his former fiancée had been so willing to do such a cruel thing.
"Love? Don't you dream, Aaron! If you weren't a young master from a wealthy family back then, I wouldn't have wanted to be your lover. It's only this man I married that I love. He's also the father of this child I'm carrying." Miranda Choi said that without any burden. She didn't even think about the feelings of a man who used to love her so much.
However, what happened? When Aaron Liu's family went bankrupt, she immediately called off their marriage. Even worse, Miranda Choi immediately threw the man away like trash.

"You're even more despicable than me, Aaron. To live, you have to beg and do manual labour," Miranda Choi quipped, without caring about the feelings of a man who used to give her whatever she wanted.
And now, Aaron Liu was utterly worthless to Miranda Choi. The man was useless trash that deserved to be thrown onto the streets. She can only despise the man who was supposed to be her husband.
A tragic and harrowing love story for Aaron Liu. He never imagined that Miranda Choi would betray him and only use him. It felt like a nightmare that turned even more terrifying.
"Which store sent the order?" Miranda still needed to find out that Aaron Liu had brought the wedding dress she had specially ordered from JL Fashion.
Aaron Liu was still devastated and felt down about the fact. Miranda Choi's betrayal had managed to tear his heart apart. It was too painful and also destroyed his pride as a man.
Not getting an answer, Miranda Choi walked over to her ex-fiancé and gave him a sharp look. She smiled sarcastically at such a pathetic man.
"After being poor, are your ears deaf too?" asked Miranda Choi in a sarcastic and condescending tone towards Aaron Liu. She became even more annoyed that he didn't give her an answer.
"I'm sure you'll get your comeuppance, Miranda," Aaron Liu replied with a trembling voice and anger in his chest.
"No need to cuss at me, Aaron! That swearing is nothing but nonsense!" Miranda Choi took the luxury box from Aaron Liu's hand and pushed him to the ground.
At the same time, Jiang Lily had just walked into the living room of a luxurious but not as luxurious as her grandmother's house.
"What are you doing with my assistant?" asked Jiang Lily with a flat yet emphasized face.
