The last thing that Wolfe heard as he retired to the Library with his new book and crystal in hand was Cassie seeking assurance from the Royals that they really weren't going to try to give Wolfe the title that Leandro had suggested.

Most of the city was out celebrating, and nearly every private room of the Library was empty, so Wolfe picked one with a comfortable chair and prepared to see what King Drider had presented him with inside this memory crystal.
