Chapter 288: 288 - Sleepyness

The conversation between Ryan and Viper continued for a few minutes, after which the girl's eyes closed again. She was much sleepier than usual, even after having rested for so long. After a quick yawn, the girl got up and started walking towards the door.

"I really need to sleep in my bed..." she said, as she walked out of the room. The only problem was that, like an NPC from a bad game, she was walking forwards as she knocked on the door.

Raising one of his eyebrows, Ryan looked at this with a certain doubt. 

< Maybe she's just very tired...? > 

As much as that could really be what was going on, the least Ryan could do was look on suspiciously. So he opened the door and let the girl go. 

Two steps out of the room, she suddenly turned round and kissed him on the mouth. Then she gave him a gentle smile and walked down the corridor to the master bedroom where her cosy bed was.
