Chapter 253: Crying Was Good For The Soul.

Nicklaus went up to her face level after placing thousands of kisses on her flat stomach. Arissa beamed all the way and let him do his thing. 

Nicklaus placed a kiss on her nose tip. He pressed their forehead together, looked into her eyes, and questioned, "You know why I did that?" 

Arissa smiled at him. "No. But I might if I should guess," 

"The floor is open," Nicklaus permitted her to guess. 

Arissa cleared her throat, "You... you're..." she pondered for a while, and then she laughed, "I can't guess. Just go on and tell me," 

Nicklaus laughed with her, "I'm sending my kisses to your future kids. I might not get to meet them and you might not tell them about me so I want them to know that even before they came into this world they had a place in my heart," he said with a firm tone. 

Arissa froze at his words and her heart melted. Her eyes stung and she could not pinpoint the main reason she was close to tears.
