Chapter 39: His crime backup.

Mr. Lincoln pulled a briefcase up from his leg side before putting it on the table. He smiled seeing the way the chief officer can't take his eyes off the briefcase which without opening, one can say it's filled with money concerning their previous meetings.

Right now, he's in a meeting at a hotel room with the chief police officer and Mr. Logan - his crime backup and finisher. Seems like someone is telling on him and he needs to find out who and eliminate all.

"Get me your best hitman. I would let you know when he would be useful," he said looking at Mr. Logan before pushing the briefcase over to the chief officer.

Chief smiled at the briefcase but kept his itchy palm to himself with his greedy eyes on the briefcase.

Mr. Logan's frown pulled up before he beckoned on his closest boy to come to him with his fingers and after a short whisper, the bulky young man exited the room and Mr. Logan turned back to the two men with him.
