"He's joking, right?" Noah quipped nervously, attempting to brush off the tension with a forced smile. But his question was aimed at Elio, seeking reassurance that Gil's inquiry was merely a prank, a lighthearted jest.

Elio, however, felt an ominous weight settle in the pit of his stomach. He didn't respond to Noah's question, his mind already racing with a flurry of thoughts. Instead, he instinctively summoned the guild chat box, fingers poised to type a response. His fingers danced across the holographic keyboard, his heart raced.

Mac: What are you talking about? When did I ask you to wait at the gate?

Mac: Besides, weren't you the one who said you were going to the guild hall?

But Gil's reply confused everyone.
