His bare chest pressed against her naked back, and she could feel the rhythm of his heartbeat and the warmth of his breath against the nape of her neck.

Allen's hold was so firm as if he pleaded with Jane not to abandon him even in his slumber. She found herself with no other option but to remain right there in his arms.
