I swatted another slew of branches away from me as I reached Lise. She had just managed to fend off her own pursuers as she climbed onto the massive tree in front of us. Stabbing the trunk, she probably only made it up at least a few meters before falling back down beside me.

I stopped her from approaching me; my eyes already locking on to the next set of maniacal branches gunning for our guts, "No time to chat. Think you can climb it?"
