Chapter 664: Strolling in the Winter Wonderland

Lucas hailed a cab through the e-hailing app. He brought Liliana to his apartment first, intending to let her rest after a long flight. The day was still early yet, the sky was still overcast after the previous snowfall.

"Wow~ It's so amazing!"

Lucas couldn't help but smile as Liliana stared out the car window, looking at the beautifully lit timber-framed houses adorned with wreaths and garlands. The lights were reflected on her beaming face.

The cab driver drove slowly on the cobbled-stoned streets, now dusted with snow. The tires left marks on the roads, trailing behind until it stopped outside the apartment building.

The distance between the airport and Place Kléber where Lucas resided only took around twenty minutes by car. After getting Liliana's suitcase from the trunk, he led her upstairs. She carried the flower bouquet he brought to the airport earlier.
