Deanna's expression darkened further by how nonchalantly Liliana was when she threw those words out.

"You bastard!" Deanna hissed, her face contorted in wrath, "Do you think I have time to be bothered by you?"

"Anna, let's go," said Joshua, his brows furrowed, "We should sit down. I've requested your favorite dishes for supper. They can be served earlier."

"Joshua, don't stop me!" Deanna glared at her fiance, her tone raised an octave, "Don't you see that? That bastard child dares to look down on me!"
