Chapter 256: It's Nice To Talk To You Until I Reach Home

Liliana immediately headed home after her talk with Mrs. Fu. The two ladies planned to meet at the cafe around twelve-thirty tomorrow afternoon. The school was thirty minutes walk from there.

There was no way Liliana would choose to suffer walking under the scorching summer sun for thirty minutes. She went to Harris' school not for exercising. Thus, she decided to call a cab.

Liliana was quiet as she walked down the road leading to the apartment. The street lamps had started illuminating the area. The last rays of sunlight peeked over the horizon, saying goodbye to the day.

"Urgh, I haven't finished my homework ah."

"Bye~ See you at school!"

"Hey! That's my ball!"

"Ops! My Mom's calling."

A few elementary school students ran down the road, passing Liliana who walked closer to the left side. She watched them with a smile.
