Chapter 86: It's been five years (5)

Far away from the duchy on the outskirts of the empire, among the lined up houses in the Asta village, the door of a house opened and a woman stepped out with a basket in the middle of her elbow.

''Where are you going?'' She heard that faint question from inside and answered with a twitch of her eyebrow. 

''Did you forget?! I am going to buy flowers for our home.'' She almost yelled even though she could not see her husband's face. While she was making food in the kitchen, she repeatedly told him about getting flowers for their home and yet he asked that silly question.

Not intending to get more annoyed, the woman harrumphed while shutting the door and went on her way to the building that was five houses away from her.

''Good morning.''

''Ah! Good morning Madam.'' On her way, she greeted most of her neighbors, sweeping the front of their homes, until she got to her destination.
