Chapter 6: Arrival of palace soldiers
The next morning, Reynold woke up to the sound of continuous knocking from the room door. He thought Garner had come to disturb him again. With a sleepy face, he opened the door.
Surprisingly, it's not Garner this time. A small girl came with a plate full of food. There was a small mouse sitting leisurely on her shoulders, and beside her, a cat was turning round and round around her feet.

After their arrival, the leader signalled the band to stop and started announcing with a loud voice.
""We are the proud soldiers from the Cloud-Nine palace. I Daniel broadmen, on the orders of the cloud nine king, we came here to escort the future daughter in law of the king, Miss Juri, to the palace. Chief Garner, please receive the king's order.""
Garner came hurriedly towards Daniel. He kneeled before him and received a golden metal plate from him.
"Garner From today onwards, you are a relative of the king. We will come again after two days to escort the princess. So, please make your arrangements."
Daniel gave a royal salute to Garner and left with his companions.
The villagers started celebrating like they'd won a lottery or something. Garner was laughing like a madman. There was a small smirk on Lady Juri's face.
