Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Eunuch
The funny-looking old man was Garner, the chief of Lockwood Village. The girl did not stop attacking even after Garner's order.
I said, "Stop it!" Garner shouted at her. With that shout, she came to a halt.
"Father, he is an intruder; why are you stopping instead of killing him?" She asked angrily.
"He is not an intruder. I brought him here. Stop causing a ruckus in the middle of the night!" Garner yelled at her.
"Father! Why are you supporting an outsider? He is spying on me in the middle of the night." Juri cried at him.
"Chief, Lady Juri is going to be the daughter-in-law of Cloud 9 King. You must not spare this type of stalker, even though you brought him." another family member said.
Garner doesn't know what to do in this situation. He believed that Reynold was not a stalker. He slowly turned his head towards Reynold.
But Reynold did not reply to anything.
After some time, "he is not a stalker. Please go to your work." Garner announced it to everyone.
""Father, how can you dismiss this matter like that? He is standing on top of my room, and I caught him red handed."" Lady Juri chimned.
'Yes, chief, you must deliver proper justice. This issue will affect Lady Ju's prestige.' The head of the soldier who got knocked back by Reynolds' punch butted in.
Reynold also knows that this matter is going to cause some trouble. No one will listen to him, even if he explains the facts.
Garner looked at him like he had this under control. Garner's confident demeanour shows that he definitely had something up his sleeves.
Reynold left this matter to Garner to deal with.
""Ha! Daughters are really troublemakers."" Every one listen carefully. "He is the Eunuch I brought to escort my daughter, Lady Jury, to the cloud-9 kingdom. So, stop this nonsense, and everyone go to your work."" Garner shouted with a loud voice.
What!? ... He is an Eunuch? Everyone was shocked by the revelation. Lady Juri also lost her demeanour.
Reynold also shocked by garner's nonsense. Everyone started staring at him like a monkey in the circus. He was bewitched by Garner's confident posture. He should not have trusted this old geezer.
The head of the soldier's face also became red. Unintentionally, everyone's head turned towards him. The strongest one among them was knocked back by an eunuch with a single punch.
"Father, why did you bring an eunuch to escort me? I'm strong enough to protect myself." Lady Jury said this annoyingly.
"Why are you blabbering in front of everyone else? It is customary to bring an eunuch along with the bride during royal weddings." Garner replied to her in a strong tone.
After listening to everything, slowly everyone left the courtyard outside of Lady Juri's room.
Reynold was annoyed with all this. It's just a few days into the new world, and he was already declared eunuch. He did not think much about it. He will leave this place whenever he wishes.
After everyone left, only Garner, Lady Juri, and Reynolds himself remained.
The lady slowly came towards him. He doesn't know what she's thinking.
"Next time, don't peek in my room. Otherwise, you will lose your neck." She made a threatening gesture and left after that.
"Are you really peaking at my daughter?".... After checking that no one was around, garner asked him.
"I'm just checking out this place. I'm not a stalker, and more than that, I'm not an Eunuch." Garner replied in a strong tone.
"Stop shouting on my face. Who knows what type of man you are? I'm just saving your ass at that time. Can't you appreciate my quick wit?" Garner said this annoyingly.
"I will be leaving this place tomorrow morning. You can blabber anything about me, I don't care, and you don't need to cover my ass anymore." He spoke in an elderly tone.
After that, He left for his room, where he was kept.
Seeing the lonesome back of Reynold, Garner thought that Reynold was acting like a mature elder. He also doesn't know who he is or where he came from? So he did not argue with him and left him to make his own choices.
Reynold fell asleep quickly after returning to his room.
Shortly after one hour, Garner woke him up from his sleep.
"What happened this time?" He asked him annoyingly.
No reply came from the other end. Garner held his hand and started dragging him outside. He did not resist.
After a few minutes of walking, Garner brought him to a training ground. There is thick, bulky wood in front of them.
"Punch it with all your might." Garner ordered him
"Did you wake me up for this?" He asked irritatingly.
"Do it now." Garner said it in a serious tone.
Annoyed with Garner's behaviour, he gave a normal, strong punch on the wood. The wood started buzzing like a bee.
Again, use your entire strength. garner said.
After taking a long breath, He punched the wood with all his strength.
The wood shattered completely and Garner was staring at him like a mesmerised young lady.
""Oh boy! No wonder Egon's ribs were broken."" You've already crossed the Vayu stage of strength. Garner said it in a surprising tone.
"Who is Egon?" He asked.
"Egon, the head of my village soldier's group, who got punched by you, had his ribs broken because of your punch. He is a Vayu cultivator in his 39th stage, and his strength was almost on par with mine." Garner said.
'What vayu stage? I didn't get a single thing about what you were talking about." He asked Garner questioningly.
"Vayu stage is the measure of the physical capability. The wood pole that was shattered by your punch is made of lokewood, which was a measuring tool to know Vayu's strength stage.
People who have already surpassed the Vayu 100th stage can only shatter a lokewood. After surpassing the Vayu stage, people usually join elite soldier divisions under kings to have access to qi manuals.
But I did not find any qi in your body. Usually, only people who have a strong foundation and vigorous training from childhood will surpass the vayu stage at a young age, like you."
""Now I'm really curious to know about you."" Garner asked him.
"That's none of your business, and as I said, I will leave tomorrow. Thanks for what you did." He replied to Garner with a serious tone.
"Where will you go?" garner asked.
'I don't know.' he said.
"Boy, listen to me. With your strength, you can go wherever you want. When I rescued you, your entire body was covered with sword marks. Definitely, it is not safe out there for you. Garner keeps on saying things.
So what are you suggesting, old man? He abruptly interrupted Garner.
