Ariston took a step forward and addressed the pack, his red eyes glimmering in the now cast moonlight.

“Shifters of Bloodmoon. Members of this esteemed and worthy pack. My name is Ariston and I am here to free you from the reign of this—” He grabbed Leo by the arm and pulled him in front of the audience. “—worthless leader. Not only has he been keeping secrets from you, but he also failed to tell you, to prepare you, for my arrival; the awakening of the Ancient Alpha.”

A murmur broke through the crowd and Ariston lifted his hand, instantly silencing them.
