Chapter 68: Colluding

"What are you going to do?" Alex asked as he slowly approached Roxie, gently tapping his feet on the ground with each step. His soft footsteps resounded throughout the area in a dominant fashion, providing Roxie with a sense of inferiority.

Roxie sat on the ground, tears streaming down her face in an unsightly fashion as she let out groans of pain and discomfort. Blood continued to emerge, threatening to end her life solely due to excessive bleeding.

Alex possessed the means and motive to end her life, but he believed she could still pass on some information about the future if he pressured her enough. She'd struck him as not a regular human.

Alex watched carefully, narrowing his eyes as Roxie revealed a singular Stone of Soma from her bosom pocket. However, before she could toss it into her mouth, it was thrown away by the amethyst-eyed boy, who refused to let her heal.
