Chapter 75: Noah Walker Told A Lie

Reef ignored the call because he still had good manners despite his growing curiosity about Noah and Grace's relationship. Since his call was not picked up, Noah called repeatedly and only stopped on his sixth call. Reef raised an eyebrow. It looked like Noah had an urgent need for trying to make that many calls. He put the phone on his desk and went back to working on the documents.

  In less than an hour, Grace returned. She knocked on his door and entered with a puzzled look on her face. However, in her hand was a bag with the brand of burger Reef used to buy.

  "You had a quick lunch, Grace," Reef commented.

  Grace handed over the burger and asked. "Mr. Davis, have you seen my phone? Apparently it wasn't in my bag. I looked for it on my desk, but it's not there. Maybe it fell here."

  Reef tipped his chin to the corner of the table. "You mean that one?"
