Chapter 73: Potential for Commotion

Nathan was somewhat relieved when Carter called him to tell him that he was canceling that day and would be leaving the next day. There's something I need to take care of, he told Nathan. Nathan suspected it was a work matter, and he wasn't surprised. Earlier, he had tried to persuade Carter not to come because Bella was fine. However, Carter had been a stubborn nephew since he was a little boy. He still wanted to come, even if he had to postpone it by a day.

  However, there was one thing that made him happy. Kylie informed him that her brother had returned from Austin and was waiting for them at his estate, Willow Creek Ranch. "He invited us to lunch at Willow Creek. I think it's going to be really fun."

  "You mean we're going on a picnic?" asked Bella who was sitting in a recliner on the veranda. Everyone told her to relax and not move too much for a few days. "Then, where's the interesting part? Because I see you're hiding something from us."
