Chapter 48: Stonks
Yasui and the team returned to the village after successfully completing their first C-rank mission!
After Kakashi reported to the Hokage, the mission was upgraded to A-rank due to the fact that the mission involved rogue ninjas and an entire nation's security.
Hiruzen almost pooped his pants after finding out that the nine tails jinchuriki and the two Uchiha kids could've died on this mission. If they really did get hurt, he wouldn't know how to explain himself to the deceased fourth Hokage and Itachi.
Therefore, he didn't let the team go far from the village. Every time that they came to ask for missions, Hiruzen would only allow them to get D-rank missions that required them to stay in the village or in the village's perimeter. No matter how much Naruto whined or complained, D-ranked missions were all that they could do!

Yasui didn't mind the D-ranked missions at the current time. They had moved away from cat missions, so it didn't take a lot of time to complete the D-ranked missions. Plus, they used shadow clones to help complete the task faster.
Furthermore… He's been very very busy counting the money in his bank! Stonks had gone up, and Konoburger had become extremely popular after his little grand opening stunt.
"Hey, hey! Big sis Katsumi!! You're more cut out for this type of job than I can imagine! Hahaha!" Yasui looked at the financial report and beamed to the skies!
"Hehe." Katsumi made a victory sign and smiled beautifully.

In total, Kono Burger is to open four locations in towns near the hidden leaf village. This is to keep both the quality of the food and quality of the service under control.

The total profit that they gained equated to 163 million Ryo! This meant that each location went for at least 40 million. This wasn't all that they were going to spend too. "Big sis Katsumi, you need to think outside of the scope of selling real-estates too." Yasui placed the financial report down, and he decided to give more tasks to Katsumi.
"What might that be?" Katsumi tilted her head. Was there more that she could have understood?
"For instance, don't we also have preservative compounds? In its own right, this product can stand by itself and create a whole other business. You can find ways to market and approach other food-related businesses with this preservative compound." Yasui had a general idea of the way they should progress in other industries, but it was way less than the plan he had for the fast food chain.
"I see! But…" Katsumi fidgeted.
"Hm? What's the matter?" Yasui wondered what the beauty wanted to say.
"Is it alright for me to build a team to help me do stuff? With all of these tasks piling on one another, the progress might become slow." Katsumi was a little unsure if she had the authority to create such a high leveled operation team.
"Of course, you can, Katsumi…I might not have been clear before, but you are the CEO of these ventures. If placed in a company, I am only part of the board that decides where this business is headed. You have all the rights to execute such orders." Yasui felt that it was about time he consolidated their roles. It had been very vague before because he was occasionally taking over for Katsumi.
"Really? Then big sis Katsumi won't let you down!" Katsumi nodded.
She then looked at Yasui's face once again and smiled. Over the past few years, Yasui had helped her grow a lot: Mentally, physically, and spiritually.
She no longer had the thought of getting Yasui as a romantic partner. It also seems that Yasui did not have that type of intention with her.
Their relationship was more like brothers and sisters, and they treated each other with respect. She took a while to confirm this point with her maiden heart.
"Say, big sis Katsumi. Should we celebrate with three colored Dangos!?" Yasui got up excitedly. With money to spend, he had to use it to enjoy life a little.
"Alright! Let big sis go get ready." Katsumi merrily went to put on clothes.
While Katsumi was getting herself ready, Yasui went to the window and called out.
A white feathered hawk flew in and landed on the windowsill. This hawk is one that Haku raised. Apparently, Haku loves to train animals that can turn white. Even the poor rabbit that Naruto once threw a kunai at is Haku's scouting rabbit.
Yasui wrote on a piece of paper, informing Haku to come over to the hidden leaf to receive some funds for the Hidden Wave Village. That's right, he's going to use at least 50% of the money that he had gained to help Zabuza develop the ninja village hidden in the waves. Idle money is just paper, so Yasui never had the thought of hogging his riches.
Zabuza and Haku's ninja team may have taken out Gato's organization, but the amount of money that they could gather wasn't a lot. Particularly because Gato was a sly person who kept all of his wealth hidden.
In addition, Zabuza and Haku couldn't get any more funds due to most of Gato's business being corrupt. This meant that they had to burn everything to the ground and start from scratch.
Yasui placed the paper on the Hawk's leg, and he allowed the bird to fly towards the Land of the Waves.

"Oi, Choji! Why do you have to spend all of your earnings on food!?" Ino looked as if she was going to puke after seeing Choji gobble down all the three-colored Dangos in one sitting.
"A man must eat to have the energy to move. The more you eat, the more manly you are!" Choji expressed his food philosophy. He even wondered if he should start a food-worshiping religion.
"These guys…" Shikamaru sipped on his hot tea, looking tired from the bickering of his teammates.
Asuma was also sitting by the side, smoking. He wasn't particularly active in looking for missions. If anything, he prefers people who are more relaxed like Shikamaru.
"Oh, looks like there are some people here to enjoy the three-colored Dango too, big sis Katsumi." Yasui's voice entered the ears of Asuma's team.
When they looked over, they saw Yasui walking in with Katsumi. Asuma, in particular, was staring intently at Katsumi.
Yasui noticed Asuma's stare and his eye twitched. Doesn't Asuma already have Kurenai? Asuma is such a horny dog if he already had his sights on Katsumi.
If Asuma really does try to pursue Katsumi, Yasui swore that he is going to show Asuma the psychological transformation jutsu. Seeing his naked old man Hiruzen with a tutu will surely make him scared to death.
"Yasui, you seem to know them. You can catch up first while I go order some three-colored Dango." Katsumi tapped Yasui's shoulder before heading into the Dango shop.
