Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Getting To Know Stefan
It's been a week in the Kentleys Mansion and Paige have been nothing but happy and at peace. She made sure to avoid any encounter with Simon. She stopped going to the garden and always made sure to be in an open space.
"Stefan haven't been picking my calls since three days now. Is everything okay with PB?" Paige asked Aurora her secretary on phone.
"He said he was coming to see you. That you requested he meet up with you urgently to discuss about our product restock seeing that we're fast running out of stock."
"I did no such thing." Paige replied. "When did he say this?"
"Three days after your departure ma." She replied.Paige rubbed her forehead confused.
"Aurora, I need you to head to the police station and report a missing person. I haven't seen Stefan. I'll try tracking his cell today.
"Okay ma. I'll update you on the outcome. Paige hung up and ramed her fist into the wall. Up in the ceiling was a tiny non noticable camera and back in a room was Simon staring at the Computer screen looking at Paige.
He sat down on his bed and puffed his Cigar. His face was strained with veins bulging. He had his scary face on. He kept looking at the computer screen and tapping his feet on the floor.
"I want you Sunflower. I'm not taking you away from your Boyfriend. I just want to have you. To satisfy this feeling, this burning desire in me." He started rubbing his temples. An action he indulges in whenever he was upset.

Few Hours Later*
"I'm so confused on what to wear. Parties these days are so stressful and vain. People literally empty their bank accounts just to look good and appealing to the society."
"Indeed mother. What about this dress? It's so gorgeous and very unique." Paige asked Emily showing her a gorgeous blush dress.
"I love it." She took it from Paige. "I love everything about it." She proceeded to sizing it and when she was okay with the result, she hung it back into the wardrobe making sure to demarcate it from others.
Why don't you go check yours? Emily urged. "I told the maid to drop them on your bed."
"What? Mother! You got me a dress? Omg, I'm so grateful. Thank you so much." Paige said and hurriedly left for her room to see her dress.
Stepping into her room, she perceived it. The strong wood fragrance. This only meant Simon came into her room. Her eyes caught the stack of sunflower dipped in a flower vase and she smiled forgetting how creepy it was for him to come into her without permission.
Then, her phone rang.
"Hello Aurora, any news?" Paige asked.
"I'm afraid so ma. PB is in a deep mess. It seems Mr. Stefan just ruined us.
"What happened." Paige asked shaking. She was scared
"Mr Stefan signed a $32,000 dollars contract with BFL&CO. We're suppose to be their gift box supplier for their upcoming shutdown shows. They've been trying to reach out to Stefan but his number ain't going through. I don't want to say this, but I think he made away with the money ma."
"What?" Paige shouted. I'm not dreaming right?
"This is not a dream Miss Paige. Please what should I do? I'm literally shaking right now. please tell me what to do. I need to be told what to do. Aurora said amidst tears.
"I need to talk to Anna Kentley. I need to speak to a lawyer." Paige said more to herself than Aurora. "I'll call you back. I need to speak to a Lawyer." She finally said audibly. Then she hung up. Remembering that Anna gave her a cell number she could reach out to her with, she immediately dialed the number.
"Hello, Anna Kentley on the line."
"Hello Anna, this is Paige. I think I'm in a big Situation. I need counseling, help or whatever it is you think I'll need."
"Paige, calm down. Tell me, what happened?" Anna asked. And had Paige explain everything to her.
"First of all, we need to find your boyfriend. Secondly, I'll need your secretary's contact so that I can speak to her and lastly, I'll reach out to BFL & CO to see if we can come to an agreement.
The first option can be handled by Simon. I'll speak to him. He can handle that in minutes. The next two will be on me. I'll get back to you before the end of the day. Now cheer up. It's not a big deal. It's just money and money is never a problem."
Anna reassured Paige before hanging up. Paige fell on bed wailing.
"Not Stefan. Not him. He promised me. What did I do to you? Why ruin me?" She cried even more.
