Chapter 31: Chapter 30 - My Demon

  When Esme got to class none of her friends had arrived so she got busy reading her book in preparation for the class. Ashley came in and was surprised to see Esme. “You are here?  She asked in surprise.

“Shouldn't I be? Esme retorted.

“How? Ashley asked seriously. In all the days that she has known Esme and had become friends, Esme never comes early to school. 

 “What do you mean, how? Isn't that insulting to say? 

“It's not insulting rather it's Surprising!

“Okay. Esme surrendered. “Don't fret. I'll tell you everything after class.

  Kim also came in at this time, gasp in surprise when she saw Esme and quickly checked her time to know if she came too late or Esme arrived too early. 

 “What day is it today? Kim asked Ashley as she got to the seat.

 “It's Thursday the 22nd, Ashley answered before saying, “Why do you ask?
