Chapter 28: 28- The Underwater Temple

Noah was happy to see his sister finally succeed after working hard for so long. Once it was confirmed that she can use the spell, the squad got ready to leave.
{Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Cradle} Noelle chanted as a big water bubble formed around the squad. Noelle seemed really happy to see her spell working.
There was one issue though, Grey was taking up too much space. She was in her huge form which caused her to take up most of the space inside the bubble
"Grey! You're taking up all the space" - Magna
"Should I kill Grey" - Luck
"Don't kill anyone Luck" - Noah reprimanded
"I'm just saying, he's taking up too much space" - Luck
"Turn into someone smaller" - Finral shouted as he was getting the air squeezed out of him
"Damn it! Turn small already!" - Gauche shouted
*POOF*
With a small pooping sound, Grey had turned into Charmy.
Once it was stabilized, captain Yami stood next to Noelle.
"Not bad, not bad. Now just focus on taking us to the underwater temple" - Yami
"Right! Here we go. Hold on everyone" - Noelle said as the water bubble sunk into the ocean.
The bubble started travelling under water, they went past different types of fish and sea creatures.
"Wow. Look at this. Do you think the fish are strong? Can they fight" - Luck
"It's like we are flying through the water" - Finral
"Those fish aren't for fighting. They're food! Delicious food!" Two Charmys said at once
"Look my angel. We are travelling under the water. Do you see that my deer angel" - Gauche had used his magic to show his sister the view from under the water
Just then the spell Gauche was using got interrupted. "NOOOO! My angel!" - Gauche shouted
"There is such dense mana here. I can feel it from all the way over here" - Venessa
"I say we reached a strong magic region" - Captain Yami commented casually
Looking ahead the squad saw a handful of under water tornados, the tornados had caused violent under water currents. This was caused by the presence of strong nature mana.
"What do we do now?!" - Asta shouted
"Stay calm! Noelle should focus and we can make it out of here" - Noah
The squad in the water bubble was getting thrown around. They were getting shaken up pretty good.
"Oh no! I think I shouldn't have drank all that wine before leaving. I feel sick" - Venessa looked like she was about to throw up
"Don't you even think about it you drunken witch" - Magna noticed it right away.
"Shut up you punk, or I'll do it for real" - Venessa
"What did you call me?!" - Magna
"Magna, I'm not joking. Please shut up. You're voice makes me want to throw up even more" - Venessa
The squad was Pickering like usual, while Noelle was concentrating as hard as she can as to not lose focus and cause her water dragon cradle spell to disappear.
Normally Noah would get his magic ready to jump in, in case something happens. But at this moment he was more focused on absorbing the nature mana around him.
After the squad had gone through the tough under water area, they finally broke through and made it to a quite and beautiful area. The area was serene and calm. Colorful fish were swimming all around. Beautiful coral reefs and other sea creatures can be seen everywhere. Asta was very impressed as he watched a sea turtle swim under the bubble. Then a shadow passed over them. looking up, the squad saw a stingray swimming over them. A long yellow snake like fish was swimming near by.
"What a beautiful sight" - Venessa
"True that" - Magna said as his eyes were glued to the scenery
"WOW! They got some funky looking animals down here" - Asta
"What is that? Why is that fish glowing like that?" - Finral pointed at a fish that was swimming near by
"That's magic. The fish here can use magic" - Noah
"That's really cool" - Magna
"I guess all the Mana around here caused the creature to evolve differently" - Captain Yami
"Evolved differently? Does that mean thy taste differently? I want to eat that one! And that one! And this one too! I want to eat all of them! I bet they will taste good fried" - The two charmys said in unison again.
"Stop it you two" - Noah grabbed the Charmys before they jumped out of the water cradle to try and catch fish.
"Yeah! And what's up with you Grey. We don't need another gluten around here" - Magna
The squad then came upon a massive water barrier with multiple water swirls around it.
"There is no way that we can go through it. My spell won't be able to break through that powerful magic barrier" - Noelle
"Alright kid. It's your time to shine" - Captain Yami said as he walked closer to Asta
"Uhm, captain. This was my first time to the beach. This trip taught me something very important. I don't know how to swim" - Asta scratched the back of his head
"Does it look like I care. Besides you don;t have to swim. I'll just toss you over there and you slash at it and we'll see what happens" - Captain Yami grabbed Asta byt his back and redded to throw him
"Wait captain. Were are not sure of Asta's anti-magic will cause the whole barrier to burst or not. How about you let me take care of that" - Noah stepped forwards and stopped Yami before he threw Asta
Noah put out his hand as a strand of black liquid slithered towards the barrier. Once the black liquid touched the barrier, Noah caused the liquid to take over a certain area in the barrier, he the absorbed that area of the barrier. This gave Noelle the space she need ed to enter the barrier without loosing her spell.
After the bubblr made it through, it burst letting everyone out.
"Thank god we made out safe. I really though we were going to die out there" - Magana
"I knew you were a spinless punk" - Venessa giggled
"Shut up you drunken witch" - Magna
Gauche had kept trying to get in touch with Marie, "It seems the mana is too strong here, I can't get a hold of my angel. What a terrible life this is"
"Well this is nice" - Finral looked around
"It's crazy that something like this existed under the ocean" - Noelle
The squad saw a massive building further away.
"Is that what I think it is? Is that the underwater temple?" - Asta asked in astonishment
Captain Yami then pulled out a muffin, out of no where, "Charmy, why don't you whip us up some cotton"
"Right away!" - Charmy said before she formed a cotton cloud, big enough for everyone to sit on. Charmy then had the cotton cloud float towards the underwater temple
"This is a bust. I thought that thy would've attacked us by now. What gives?" - Luck sounded disappointed
"As much as I would hate to agree with Luck. But I also expected them to attack us" - Magna
The group landed at the center of the town. The place was made of a bunch of oval shaped budlings.
The squad kept walking until they saw a group of people. Then suddenly a lot of people started to gather around them
"Oh my god, we haven't seen any outside visitors in a very long time" - Someone said
"Look at their robes. They're magic knights"
"Have you been on any dangerous missions, or fun ones?"
Captain Yami ignored the people around and walked towards one of them. "Take me to your boss"
"If you want the one in charge then it will be the high priest" - The man responded
"How do we get there" - Captain Yami
"Let's go up the stairs" - The man said
The squad and the group of people walked up the stairs as they made it towards the largest building around. The squad walked through the doors, but none of the people followed.
"Alright, good luck. Say high to the high priest for us" - The man said just before the doors shut
The squad kept walking until they got to an open clearing, where an old man was standing.
"Welcome, welcome. It has been a while since had any visitors. Welcome to the underwater temple. I'm the high priest of this temple" - Gifso
"It's nice to meet you old man" - Yami said as he stepped towards the high priest
"Let me guess, you're here for the magic stone, are you not? Well if you want to take it, you have to play a game first" - Gifso said as he laughed
"What kind of game is this" - Asta
"The name of the game is... find out how squishy the boobs are" - The old man said as he looked at Noelle. Noelle and Noah punched him in the face at the same time
"Get away from her you damn old pervert" - Noah pulled Noelle away from him.
"It was just a joke" - Gifso
"All right. Enough messing around. Just give us the stone already" - Magna
"You have to play to get the stone. Your kingdom needs it, no?" - Gifso
"Seems there is no way around it. So what game are we playing old man. Dice, or a card game, I'll warn you, I'm a master gambler" - Yami
"Yahoo! We will have a brawl! A classic temple battle royal. YAAAA!" - Gifso
