Noah was happy when he left the castle.
"What took so long? Well anyway we already moved the entire library, we need to head back now." - Randall
"Sorry, it took a long time to break through the seal, that's all" - Noah
After that the team was moved back to the palace, where they began their mission. Thankfully the mission was easy. If it wasn't for Draco not fighting back, there is a big chance all of us would've died.
Once we got to the palace, the wizard king was busy with other matters. Randall sent me home, he said he'll wait and report to the wizard king. I was able to find Finral, and he dropped me off at the base.
Waiting for a few more hours, the rest of the squad came back.
"Noah, I see you made it before us. So how was your mission? Anything fun?" - Asta
"Nothing much, I just made a new friend" - Noah
"Well, I got a new and cool sword, look!" - Asta took out his new sword to show off in front of Noah
"That's great! Can I hold it?" - Noah
"Sure!" - Asta handed Noah the sword
Noah absorbed the anti-mana in the sword, the sword turned white, then he filled the sword with his own mana. The sword took on a black color, with a purple shade to it.
Noah took a few swings with the sword, it felt great to wave that thing around. It was perfectly balanced, and it was similar to the sword that Noah usually uses.
"Thanks for letting me try it" - Noah handed the sword back to Asta
"So, how was your mission?' - Noelle
"It wasn't too bad" - Noah started to recount the entire mission to them.
Asta and Noelle, told Noah about their fight with the diamond kingdom over the dungeon. After talking with the rest of the team, it had already gotten late, so they went to their rooms.
The next day, Noah woke up early and decided to do some training, he finally gets to try what changes happened after having Draco in his grimoire.
After a light warm up, Noah stood in a clearing right outside the black bull's base.
[Draco, you there?] - Noah
[I'm right here] - Draco's deep voice sounded in Noah's head
[So, what now. What cool abilities can we do!] - Noah was excited to have a spirit dive, or a dragon dive in this case
[Not sure] - Draco
[How about we try to use your mana to cast a spell] - Noah suggested
Draco and Noah spent the whole day training. They figured out some things because of their training and experiments.
First, Draco and Noah can cast their perspective magic, but they can also cast each other's magic as well. Noah was able to breath out purple fire at some point, and Draco was messing around with an Edex Orb.
They also found out, though by accident, that they can mix their magic powers together and use a third element. They weren't sure what element it was, but they were able to tell that it will be powerful in the future.

A week passed since the both exploration missions were carried out. During that week, captain Yami was gone the whole time. We just got a call from him, saying to head to the royal capital for a meeting in the knights head quarters.
All three of them were talking about their experiences, and Asta was complaining about not eating enough this morning. A few meters a head of them, was the rookie team from the golden dawn.
"Hey, Yuno!" - Asta ran up to the golden dawn
The two groups met up, Mimosa was a little shy around Noah still, but she tried to talk to him.
"I heard you were in a different mission Noah. How was your mission? I heard that you had a big haul" - Mimosa
"Yes, we were able to empty the whole place without any casualties at all." - Noah
"That's great. So you found anything interesting?" - Mimosa
Noah was chatting with Mimosa, Asta and Yuno were having their usual argument. Before long they made it to the entrance to the head quarters.
Standing in front of the entrance a man was standing. Once Klaus saw the man, he went on one knee.
"Greetings sir!" - Klaus
The rest went on their knees, except for Noah, Asta and Yuno.
"Who's this guy?" - Asta asked
"Not sure, but he's dressed all fancy" - Yuno
"You idiots! This is the current wizard king Julius Novachrono" - Klaus shouted at them.
Once they heard who this man was, Yuno went on his knee as well, while Asta was dragged to the ground by Klaus.
There was only Noah and Julius standing. 'Sorry sir. I loved your character in the original work, and even here, I like your playful attitude, but I won't kneel to anyone' - Noah thought as he just stood their casually
[Who is this man Noah?] - Draco
[This is Julius Novachrono, the current wizard king. He's the strongest mage in the kingdom] - Noah
"At ease. I'm glad that you all made it. Let's head inside" - Julius
After getting to one of the rooms in the head quarters, Julius took a look at Yuno's grimoire. Then Asta showed him his new sword.
After that Asta wanted to ask a questions.
"How can I become the wizard king"X2 Both Asta and a Yuno asked at once
Klaus tried to give a book answer, But Julius stopped him.
"It's about results. A noble heart alone can not protect anyone. The trust of the people is earned not granted. You want to become the wizard king. Then get results. Prove that you're the strongest. Do anything within your power to get results. Anyone who's not willing to devote their lives to getting results can't hope to stand at the summit" - Julius got serious all of the sudden
Asta and Yuno looked determined after hearing Julius' speech
"Well, anyway. I hope you're ready for something special. We gathered other mages for the distinguished serves ceremony. We will give the mages who preformed exceptionally well rewards for their efforts." - Julius
The group of seven made their way to a hall where the ceremony was being held. Just before Julius stepped in, he looked back at the group, "The real question is. Can you get greater results than all of those knights?" - Julius pushed the door open.
Everyone stepped inside except for Noah, he was busy talking with Draco about something and didn't notice the rest of the group has entered the room.
After snapping out of his discussion with Draco, Noah stepped inside the hall. The second Noah entered the hall, everyone of the people present were shocked, they started sweating and their hairs stood in fear.
Looking at Noah, a great deal of magic power was leaking off of him, everyone in the room, even the captains like Charlotte felt pressured.
[No matter how many times you explain it to me Noah, I can't see why it's attractive for a man. I mean it's just a sack of fat on a woman's chest]
[HOW DARE YOU! Don't call it just sacks of fat!] as Noah and Draco were having a very sophisticated discussion about the anatomy of humans, everyone else were under pressure.
Deep down Noah was happy. After an entire week living together, Draco was now accustomed to Noah's antics. And Noah was also more accustomed to Draco.
Looking up from his discussion, Noah realized all eyes were on him.
[Draco, did someone ask me something while I wasn't paying attention?]
[I don't know. I wasn't paying attention either]
"Hello everyone" - Noah greeted
"It seems I have to take care of something. Please enjoy the banquet" - Julius said before leaving the room.
Looking through the room, Noah saw that Leopold and Feugoleon were there. Other than that, captain charlotte was there, along with Sol.
Nozel, Solid, and Nebra were there. And lastly some members of the golden dawn were there.
Leopold came and started chatting with Noah and Mimosa. Asta and Noelle were chatting not too far away from them.
Nebra made her way towards Noelle.
"So I see the failure is here as well. I thought you would've died in that dungeon. But I guess a cockroach will cling on to it's worthless life no matter what" - Nebra's words attracted the attention of every single person in the room.
"A commoner among us. It's like having a rat in the throne room. Nothing but a piece of filth, and an eyesore" - A golden dawn member named Alecdora
"C'mon now Alecdora, we all know who's the real eyesore here. Right Noelle" - Solid made his way towards Noelle, and emptied a glass of water on her head.
Usually when something like this happens, Noah would be the one to defend her, but this time Noah didn't have to do anything, Asta was already on it
Asta stepped forward, so that Noelle would be behind him. "You were invited here by the wizard king, so I figured you had to be pretty amazing. But you're just like the rest of them! Commoner, rat, disgrace, failure! You keep throwing those names around. Do you think I care about your opinin-" - Asta was interrupted by a small sand containment cast by Alecdora
"I won't be spoken to by someone like you, you filthy rat" - Alecdora
Asta was quick enough to pull out his sword and dispel Alecdora's attack
"How dare you!" - Alecdora shouted at Asta
"Listen up because I'm not done! I'll get results like no one ever before. And I'll become the wizard king!" - Asta shouted
The room went quite after Asta's declaration.
"A mere commoner wants to become the wizard king? You've got to be joking" - Solid laughed at Asta and sent a water binding magic spell at Asta
Asta was able to dispel Solid's attack. But Nebra also sent a magic attack at Asta, which he dispelled as well
Then Alecdora jumped in and cast a capture magic spell at Asta, this one was able to capture him.
While Asta was still captured, Solid charged a water bullet spell and sent it towards Asta. But Asta was able to use his sword and send it back at Solid.
"How dare you! You'll pay for striking back at me!" - Solid shouted at Asta.
Then suddenly the air got heavy and cold, Nozel stepped up and told Solid to step back.
"A commoner, who dares to defy royalty, I wonder how I should punish you" - Nozel looked straight at Asta
"I think you should step back Nozel. Where is your sense of honor, going up against rookies. How far have you fallen" - Fuegoleon
Once Fuegoleon sounded, Nozel canceled out the pressure he was exerting.
"A royal has let a commoner attack us, and say nothing in response. You're the one who's fallen" - Nozel
"Remember, the wizard king was the one who brought him here. He is a commoner, yes, but we can extend a measure of acceptance." - Fuegoleon
"I'm sorry to see the house Vermillion has grown soft. You've become a disgrace to the family Fuegoleon" - Nozel
"What did you say?" - Fuegoleon said threateningly
"As an eagle that soars the sky, how can I accept an insect that crawls on the ground" - Nozel
Suddenly the room became hot, and a figure of a crimson lion and a silver eagle were facing off. The building started shacking, the glass windows shattered
[This is our que Draco. You ready?] - Noah
[Wait! What do you mean?!] - Draco
[It's step 1 of your debut. People will get to know that I have a dragon in my grimoire at some point. This is a perfect chance to show off] - Noah
[Do I really have to do this?] - Draco
[Stop being a little bitch. We got this!] - Noah
As the eagle, and the lion were in a stand off, a being with more power and a majestic figure emerged. The black/purple shadow of a dragon towered over the other two. The ground they were standing on shattered in a spider web pattern, everyone was pushed back. The lion and the eagle were pushed down, until they were dispersed.
Nozel and Fuegoleon looked to see the source; Noah. Noah was leaning on a table not too far from the center. He was holding a plate in his hand. He stared straight at the two captains, his eyes were lit bright purple now, and there was a stream of purple mist leaking from his mouth.
Just as Fuegoleon was about to say something to Noah, a man in the mage robes of the wizard king's private unit, barged into the room. "Emergency captains! The capital is under attack!"
