Chapter 92: Providing resources

The following day, Wang Jian intended to send a letter to Guan Yin's home in Riverdale Town. But, as he was about to hand the letter to a servant, a maid arrived and announced, "…Your Highness, the third prince is here to meet you."

Wang Jian was taken aback and thought the timing was suspiciously coincidental. Nevertheless, he resolved to meet with his third brother.

As Wang Jian entered the living room, he saw his elder brother Wang Chen sitting there, wearing an expression of pleasant surprise. "Jian, it's good to see you," Wang Chen said warmly. "I thought I'd drop by and see how you're doing."

Wang Jian smiled back, and his eyes narrowed ever so slightly. He knew his brother well enough to realize that this visit was not entirely innocent. "It's good to see you too, brother," he replied, his tone carefully neutral. "I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to visit you yet. My friends have been keeping me busy."
