Chapter 55: The past
Tatsuya was laying on a bed his upper body was naked while his lower body was covered with a white blanket in his hands was a long Obi with butterfly design on it.
He was sleeping peacfully on the bed, he had been like this for two days, he drained himself while chasing after Reiko so he definitely needs a long day rest.
Sitting beside him was Reiko, she sat there for the past two days, refusing to eat or drink anything since she gained consciousness
Arghh...
Tatsuya eyes twitched a little following his hands, then he rose up slowely holding his head with his hand
"Arghh...headache?" He said grabbing his head
Reiko who hasn't been noticed yet began to cry, it was a tears of joy
Tatsuya finally noticed her sobbing and was confused, he couldn't remeber anything that happened, really he couldn't remeber them.
Reiko falls on his arms and cried like a little girl alerting the other Kakushis around her they came into the room banging the door
Still Tatsuya was still confused
The Kakushis that rushed into the rooms had their mouths wide open
"Immpossible"
They commented

After some time of shock, the enviroment finally settled and everything was brought to light.
Tatsuya's memories came back and the event afterwards were explained to him.
"We had to inject a dozen of muscle relaxers to get you release Reiko-sama, we definitely thought that you would be dead but yet you came back, that's amazing Tatsuya-sama" Thus the Kakushi explained
Reiko stared at Tatsuya with an obsessed eyes and smile, but she was still beautiful nonetheless.
" So thats what happened huh?..." Tatsuya commented, he had remembered everything, but for some reason his memories after saving Reiko was not recovered
"If that's the case then my mission here is over" Tatsuya jumps out from the bed to fast to realise he was naked
"Where some cloths you idiot" Reiko threw her chair on his face, She was bright red
"Y-You know im still not feeling well"
The Kakushi brought some new pairs of cloths for him. He wore them and was ready to move
"By the where Tatsuya...I'm just curious to know...where are you going to?" Reiko was acting some what childish, which was weired to Tatsuya and the two Kakushi that were present
Why were they there again? I don't know
"Hmmm... i guess you don't know?"
Reiko and the Kakushi tilt their heads in confusion
"My house"

They were all shocked
"What is it you all!?" Tatsuya barked
Words had gone round that Tatsuya was homeless, although it's quite normal for a Demon Slayer but for someone like Tatsuya it's abnormal, someone who made a name for himself, a war legend to be homeless it's truly a bad joke to laugh at
"When Tatsuya-kun?" Reiko asked
"Probably a week ago, you should come one of these days" Tatsuya smiled making Reiko blush a little
"Guess i should be going now" Tatsuya stands up from his bed
"Neh Tatsuya-kun, before you go i wanted to thank you in a special way" Reiko said.
'Special way fufufu' Tatsuya's thought was messed up
"Pervert" Reiko concluded
"Yeah definitely a pervert" The Kakushi added
"Ohh that reminds me" The other Kakushi said and puts his hand into his pocket and brings out a scroll
"Here Tatsuya-sama" She handed it to Tatsuya
Tatsuya opened the scroll and reads the content, the content stated
'A letter from Oyakata-sama.
Tatsuya Uzui, You have been selected as one of the new fighting style participators'
The letter was short brief and made no sense to Tatsuya
"The event was to be held A day before Yesterday and but postponed to next tomorrow"
"Ohh is that so"
"Yes Tatsuya-sama and you are to appear for the event" The kakushi added
"Haa... Reiko you wanted to tell me something" Tatsuya said while leaving the room
"Yes.." She followed him
"Neh wasn't Reiko-sama acting weird all of a sudden"
"Yeah, it's seems like I'm not the only one to notice"
"But she has a fiancée"
"Yeah too bad for her"
In Reiko's house
Yuki rushed Tatsuya and hugged him crying her eyes out on his cloths
"Uncle Tatsuya I'm so happy you're alive" She cried
"Was i going to die?" He laughs
"But they said you were on the verge of dying"
"Let me tell you something Yuki-chan, i can't die, not now, not ever" Tatsuya reassures her
She wipes her eyes with Tatsuya cloths.
Tatsuya follows Reiko into the living room a cup of tea was offered to him and Reiko and Tatsuya were left to have their privacy.
The atmosphere was first awkward but Reiko being the one that invited him over decided to make the first move
"Thank you once again Tatsuya-kun"
"Hmm... no problem" Tatsuya nods
The atmosphere went back to it's usual state of awkwardness
"Umm, Tatsuya-kun...I'm sorry for what Moniyara did.."
"Reiko I'm sure you didn't call me here just to apologise and all" Tatsuya cut her shut of words
"Yeah... thats true
I wanted to tell you a little about myself Tatsuya-kun"
Reiko said
"I'm from Ki family in Saiko clan, we are family of executioners, we kill criminals sentenced to death, that's out only work and purpose, moniyara is the Clan heads grandson, he has been spoiled right from day one, anything he wanted was presented to him, he lacked nothing. Our meeting was a nice one, he once saved my life, from a pack of frost wolfs..."
She removed her haori a little showing her sexy figure and revealed a scar running from her shoulder straight to her back
".... and that was then he picked interest in me and wanted me by any means possible. I'm really grateful to him for saving my life but doesn't he understand the concept of love, well him aside i hated every aspect of my family's work and ran away from home to slay demons and protect humans, rather than slaying humans, Moniyara also helped me in doing so and thats was why...."
"Wait a minute Reiko-chan" Tatsuya stops her
"Who the hell is Moniyara?"
"My fiancée you dummy!!" Reiko barks and throws the cup at Tatsuya's face, Tatsuya skillfully cought the cup with his hand
"That's the issue Reiko-chan, the problem is from you" Thats point at her face
"Me??"
"Yes, you. You don't want something but still accept it, that's messed up"
"Huh??"
"I asked you 'who is Moniyara', I wanted to know your Point of view, who you take him for, you say he is your fiancée then your fiancée he shall be, you say he is an idiot stalker, then an idiot stalker he shall be, everything is based on perspective, believes and ideology, society is guided by believes what you believe in make who you are, the first thing to do is to change your perspective of him, I'll ask you once again, who is Moniyara?"
"H-He is an idiot stalker!!" She hesitantly shouts
"Yoshi... thats the spirite Reiko-chan, now if you excuse me i have to get back to my house, it's three hours from here"
"Umm...Tatsuya-kun you can still stay if you want, for today, I'm sure Yuma and Yuki will love it"
Haaa....
Tatsuya sighed, he kind of expected that kind of thing.
"I'll stay if you say so" Tatsuya said, Reiko eyes and expression was filled with joy

The door slamed open and Yuma and Yuki dash inside
"Hooray, uncle Tatsuya is staying" Yuki rushed at him and jumps on his body.
The group enjoyed the rest of the day together and played it was truly a memory to keep dear to oneself.
The following day, the Demon Slayer Corp HQ infront of Oyakata-sama mansion were three individuals. Sanjuro Rengoku and two others.
The first one was a young boy, he has a long blue curly hair which he packed together in a ponytail leaving to bangs falling by the side of his hair, he has blue eyes which showed little or no emotions at all, he had scar that ran from the top of his left eyes to his right chin. He wore a black black kimono that has the huge Mizukiri clan crest at his back and a katana strapped round his waist
And beside him sitting cross legged on the floor was a young probably in his early 20s, he has shot spiky hair and brown eyes he carried a long caber at his back, he wore a white kimono and a brown haori over it with a black hakama.
The group were patiently waiting for Oyakata-sama arrival, their face showed that they had no intention whatsoever to interact with each other or form any bond at all.
"Is this the place Reiko-chan?" Tatsuya's voice rang throughtout the quiet compound
"Yes yes I've been here countless times" she responded
"Haa...i wanna hurry up and get home real quick" Tatsuya sighed
"You have to be patient Tatsuya-kun"
"Umm.... excuse me, are you by any chance..."
Tatsuya fliches as he heard the voice, the voice was so farmiliar, Tatsuya can never forget people so easily most especially people he cherishes as family members. Tatsuya's thought became unstable, in that moment, in that place, he thought of every possibility"
'That voice....it can't be..."
