"So, Caliban, who are you stalking on, in the middle of the night? Is it some fair lady? Or maybe some fair man?": Geraldine asks about the obvious elephant in the metaphorical room.

"Neither is the case.": Caliban answers back, once again on guard against these people.

"So there is a case after all! The question is now, what is it about?": Sylar says with a mischievous smirk on his lips, seeing that there was some kind of backstory about Caliban.

*Sigh*

":I would much appreciate if you left me to my own affairs.": Caliban tried to safely send this pair of annoying people on their way, sure he was curious, but he has plans for the night.

He plans to face one of his makers, one of the monsters, that has thrown him into this hell, into this living nightmare, and demand from him reparations.

"I do not think, that it is a bright idea to leave you alone! You see, my animated corpsy friend, you have the vibes of a person that is about to do something truly vile, and descend on a path of violence.": Sylar says while walking towards Caliban.

"I love me some gruesome violence just as much as the next sociopath, but I do feel that you want something that you can get without the need to go on a killing spree. Maybe I can be of as much help as the person you are about to visit, assuming you're willing to tell me what it is, that your undead heart desires.": Sylar says while looking into the golden eyes of Caliban.

*Sigh*

"Frankenstein! It seems you got lucky today.": Caliban murmurs to himself as he looks towards the home he was stalking, before looking back.

"Okay, Mr. Gray, I will be confiding in you, and tell you my story but not here! Follow me.": he says before leading the way towards a run down pub near the haven.

Once inside, they take a seat in the far back, dimly lit corners of the pub, and order their drinks.

"Now, Caliban, you may start telling us your story if you so please.": Geraldine says as she musters the scarred face of the man, in the dim light of the candle.

"Mine is a story full of misery and pain, are you sure you want to waste your time listening to my ramblings?": Caliban asks, trying to dissuade the two people one last time.

"You can either tell me your story or I can send you on your way, my dear friend. I have not repaid you for that punch, and that did barely tickle me. So please stop stalling and start with the story, I am not even half as patient as I make the impression.": Sylar says, a bit more aggressive.

*Sigh*

"I am unsure of why I even bother talking to you two, but it is my first time meeting anything even remotely resembling myself, and I cannot deal with being the only one of my kind.": Caliban says while looking deep into his beer, lost in his own thoughts.

(A/N: Frankensteins creature wanted someone to love, and I assume him meeting something remotely like himself might have an impact on him. Maybe he'll open up to them, maybe he won't, but at least he will try to communicate, just to make sure if there is a potential partnership.)

"I was created inside the former laboratory of the Frankensteins, I was born covered in blood and in pain. My creator's Victor and William, abandoned me due to being frightened by their very own creation, leaving me all alone.": Caliban retells the beginning of his story.

"You poor thing.": Geraldine says without realizing it herself.

"When I finally decided to leave the place of my creation, I came to learn of both the cruelty and mercy of men in a single night. During that night, I was beaten unmercifully by a mob, then given food and a home by Mister Vincent Brand. He gave me a job as a stagehand at the Grand Guignol Theatre. I am currently staying there.": Caliban explains his circumstances in a way that is more dramatic than necessary, and the poor creature has a bleak view on his own existence, rather than seeing the positive aspects of his immortality or the potential it holds.

"At least not everything was bad, and you found at least one good person.". Geraldine comments.

"Mr. Brand taught me all there is to know about performance arts and an exceptionally well-rounded vocabulary. It is here that I was also given the name Caliban, after the sub-human son of the malevolent witch Sycorax, and primary antagonist in William Shakespeare's "The Tempest".": Caliban finishes his story that took him a few hours to recount.

"Well, that is certainly one interesting origin story.": Sylar says absent-mindedly.

He is currently contemplating the topic of reanimation, two genius humans created beings that look like humans but in fact at least ten times stronger, have endless stamina, and are immortal. The best part is that they can be mass-produced and turned into loyal minions if done right, and they will serve for eternity.

"Caliban, I will tell you a secret, for you have told us one of yours. My Lord and I are Vampires! This might be a solace to you, we're also immortal, and as such you don't have to pass eternity in solitude. You can find yourself an immortal bride, and live in peace if you so wish.": Geraldine explains hers and Sylar's race to Caliban, and offers to turn his wife for him if she falls in love with him.

In the midst of Geraldine's and Caliban's talk about their life's, Sylar suddenly asks a question.

"Were you stalking William or Victor?"
