Chapter 31: Not Destined

At Night

Li An'an brought Junjun and Jùnjùn home. Baobao's fever had subsided, but she didn't have an appetite. She made porridge for the child and added a bit of sugar to it.

"Mommy, I'm fine now. I'll listen to you in the future and not eat too much ice cream."

Li Baobao pouted, looking guilty.

"It's okay. Mommy didn't take good care of you. I'm in the wrong."

The three children were already very obedient. They were much more sensible than their peers. She was very content, but no matter how sensible they were, they were still just children. She could not ask for too much.

"Brother, did the filming go well today?"

Li Baobao asked. She could have gone to see him, but because of her fever, she couldn't be there to cheer for her brother.

Li Junjun handed Li Baobao the windmill that the kindergarten teacher had given him and kissed her little face.

"It went very well. Don't worry about me. Just get well soon, okay?"
