That night, Azel looked bored as he sat on his bed. Closing his eyes, he recalled the people he met that morning. From the data Camellia had gathered, almost none of them were suitable for special forces. In other words… their talent is quite bad.
'Should I change plans?'
Azel frowned. After pondering for quite a while, he finally made up his mind.
Let's look for hidden talents in society. After all, the [Eye of The Lord] wasn't just a display. For now... let's improve the quality of the knights first.
Starting tomorrow, Azel will be reconstructing his knight system. He wanted them to get better soon Because one month later he will have an important guest. The guests are the former nobles residing in his territory.
Azel planned to invite them to become his subordinates. If they refuse...something less pleasant might have to happen. He would expel them from his territory and replace them with new ones. If they rebelled, he could only kill them.
Opening his eyes, an ominous glint flashed in Azel's eyes. Raising his left hand, the young man's expression turned cold. In seconds, black lightning danced around his hand before disappearing in the blink of an eye.
"Killing, huh? In past or present life I've never done it. I hope that kind of thing doesn't have to happen," Azel muttered.
Shaking his head lightly, Azel immediately lay down on his bed. But before falling asleep, the young man heard a knock on the door. Taking a deep breath, he decided to get up and check it out.
Opening the door, Azel was surprised by Camellia's arrival. More precisely, surprised because of the girl's appearance. Looking at the girl in thin sleepwear that was quite exposed, he involuntarily swallowed his saliva.
"What's wrong, Camellia?"
"Because this afternoon I made you angry, I came to apologize, sir."
Clearing his mind, Azel shook his head lightly.
"No problem. I also thank you since you've helped a lot. Tomorrow will be even busier, hurry up and rest."
"B-But Master…"
"what is it?"
"In the past two days you have been very busy. I am afraid you are too tired. How about I give you a massage, sir?"
Azel was stunned for a moment. He stared into Camellia's red face. His gaze fell down. Right below Camellia's neck, there is a tattoo with a vertical eye drawing, on both sides of the eye there are six black wings. It was Azel's sigil or magic sign.
Bound by a soul contract, Camellia's life is in Azel's hands. The young man could easily order the girl in front of him to do whatever he wanted. It's just that Azel has no desire to do so. The reason he made a soul contract that was even worse than a slave contract was a matter of loyalty.
Not wanting to be betrayed, Azel decided to make the contract. If you asked who Azel trusted in this world, without hesitation he would answer Camellia. Because with the soul contract, the soul slave who intends to betray their master will lose their life.
A gentle smile appeared on Azel's face as he held both sides of Camellia's shoulders.
"Thanks for worrying about me, Camellia. But you should rest now. I need you to help me tomorrow, ok?"
Camellia looked slightly disappointed but immediately replied, "As you wish, sir."
Azel shook his head lightly. He took a deep breath as he thought.
'It's not that I don't want to and I'm not interested, but now is not the time to do that sort of thing.'

In the morning after breakfast, Azel who wore his equipment went to the practice field. he looked so elegant and cold in all black. The breastplate, arms, and boots were made from the scales of an Abyssal Basilisk, a tier 5 Demonic Beast. A black sword that released an aura of darkness every few breaths hung from the left side of his waist.
The people who saw Azel were shocked. From his appearances, the Prince looked strong and domineering. It's just that they feel sorry for the high level equipment worn by Azel. The reason was simple, they thought that the equipment was only used as a 'display' because their master was notoriously useless.
In the Imperial Palace, no one even saw the 8th Prince train. Let alone practicing, they had never seen him draw a sword from its scabbard. Azel noticed the stares of those people but chose to remain silent.
Arriving at the practice field, Azel was quite satisfied when he saw the soldiers lined up neatly. Standing at the head of the line of knights, he nodded lightly.
"Good morning everybody."
"Good morning, Sir!" answered the Knight in unison.
"Okay! I'm not going to mince words. I'm about to announce something important right away. From now on, the ranks of Black Lily's knights are disbanded!" Everyone was immediately shocked. But Azel immediately interrupted.
"I will create three new regiments namely Striker, Defender and Watcher. I have made a list. From now on you guys will be separated into three parts. Besides..."
Azel started explaining the concept of his idea. The people looked surprised, but in the end they nodded knowing that their master's plan had turned out to be very good. Of course there were some people who had doubts. But they remained silent as they had agreed to the agreement made earlier in the day.
"I myself understand that you guys have developed many kinds of combat techniques. But what I want to say... your foundations are not solid enough!
Because of that, I plan to rebuild your foundations. When we finished, then we will go to the next stage. Do you understand?
"Understood, sir!" they answered in unison.
Nodding lightly, Azel mmediately went to the side of the field and took a practice sword made of wood. The young man then returned to his place. In front of the people's eyes, he stood quietly.
"What I'm going to show you now is basic training. What are you waiting for? Grab your practice swords and get into position!"
"Yes, Sir!"
After a while, Azel smiled when he saw the line of people looking at him curiously. Holding the practice sword in both hands, Azel started to explain.
"What I am about to teach you is called the 'Six Fundamental Moves'. Of course, this is the most basic foundation. But foundations exist not to be trifled with.
These moves consist of vertical slashes, horizontal slashes, diagonal slashes, thrusts, blocks, and evades."
After saying that, Azel immediately practiced the six moves. When he finished, he saw people looking at him with stunned expressions.
"Looks easy, doesn't it?"
"Yes, Sir!"
"Then you guys try to practice it now. I almost forgot, you guys count yourself. Each move is 100 times in the morning and evening. If anyone doesn't do it or doesn't manage to complete it... hehehe, you will get a small punishment."
"Yes sir!"
"What are you waiting for, do it now!"
Seeing people starting to get into position and train, Azel walked around watching them. The young man's eyes narrowed.
"What's with that move! Straighten your upper body. Swing it firm and hard. Don't do it like a hungry chicken! Didn't you have breakfast already?"
"Understood, sir!"
It didn't take long for Azel's screams to be heard again.
"Decisive! Do it decisively! What's with that footwork? This is just a vertical slash move and you guys can't do it well. At this rate…you guys are taking too long to finish.
Oh! I almost forgot. For those who haven't finished, no lunch!"
Hearing Azel's words, the knights were stunned again. Some ventured to ask how to do it right. The prince was not angry at all and showed it to them.
The movement Azel made was absolutely perfect as if it had been done hundreds of thousands of times before. Many people underestimate and try to imitate it, but they realize....
This basic movement technique was not easy at all!
