Despite being 'unable to spar' due to his heavy protective radiation suit, his verbal guidance was highly valued and appreciated.

Just another ordinary day, or so it seemed.

Today, however, was different.

The Mecha warriors who usually congregated at the training area were all absent except for a few who were still recovering from injuries.

The training area was filled mostly with soldiers of other kinds.

"What has happened?"

Standing among the soldiers waiting for directions, Ji Xinghe asked furrowing his brows.

The soldiers, who in normal days would take every opportunity to converse with Ji Xinghe, exchanged silent glances but none replied.

Some soldiers met Ji Xinghe's eyes - or at least the part visible through his protective helmet - before awkwardly looking away.

Ji Xinghe's brows furrowed deeper. Something was indeed amiss.
