Chapter 27: Inside the Secret Realm (6)
Heading inside the dragon palace, Tang Lina and the others found themselves in a huge hall with dragon scripture on each side of the walls
Tang Lina and the others enter a huge room with a dragon statue in the middle of it.
"What's this?" one of the people muttered as they were confused of where the inheritance is
"Yea, what the hell is this??" Another person spoke
The common people kept on talking and talking while the big shots kept their mouth shut and observe the situation
All of a sudden, a figure of a person similar to the one who Zhang Kai and Li Chan met appeared
However, unlike the one who Li Chen met, the figure was a woman with horns on the side of her heads
It could be seen that the figure currently has a confused expression on her face 'what is going on? Shouldn't the beasts outside eliminate most of them? How could there be so many people here?'
The figure thought as remembering when she firsts set up the secret realm, she made it that only youth below 15 years old could enter. Furthermore, she placed a lot of beasts from the core formation and golden core realm inside the secret realm.
However, what the figure didn't know is that Li Chen asked half of the angel squad to eliminate all the beasts so that many youths could reach the dragon palace quickly, so that Tang Lina couldn't get the inheritance without competing with others
"WOAHHH LOOK AT THAT!!"

Looking at the illusory figure, many people started to cheer and yell as seeing a dragon was a big deal as dragons are very rare and powerful
The only reason Zhang Kai and Ye Liuli didn't have any reaction was that Zhang Kai thought of himself someone higher than a dragon (common protagonist L)
"Silence!" The female dragon figure said as she radiated a powerful aura, making everyone in the room shut their mouth immediately
"Seeing that a lot of people are here, I will hold a trial to find the most suitable one out of you." As she said those words, all the youths in the room was teleported to a open field
"WHATS GOING ON!"
"WHERE THE HELL IS THIS"
The crowd once again started yelling, questioning where they are right now because all they could see was endless plain of grass
"You are all currently inside a realm I created. In this realm, there is no rule of dead. Hence, when one dies in the upcoming trial, he or she will be immediately teleported outside of the secret realm and will be disqualified for my inheritance." The dragon figure spoke
"So what's the trial?" For the first time Tang Lina spoke after entering the dragon palace
"Well, take a look at the sky in front of you." The dragon lady replied as she gestured for everyone to look above
In the sky, there is a huge square that resembled a board, with number 1,2,3,4..... and a name besides the number
"As you can see, I created a little leaderboard with random people's name here. In the next challenge, a herd of beast will be coming and you will gain points depending on the cultivation of said beast."
"BUT, THATS NOT FAIR FOR US RIGHT?" a person from a middle size sect yelled as he felt that this trial favor the big shots
"Well, if you don't like my arrangement, I could teleport you out this instance, would you like that to happen?" The dragon lady replied with a smirk that made everyone shivered
"MY APOLOGIES! PLEASE DON'T SEND ME OUT!!" The youth replied as he kneeled on the ground
"Then is there anyone else who is dissatisfied with my arrangement?"
"...."
"...."
Seeing that there is no one voicing out their dissatisfaction, the dragon lady said "Let the first trial began, and let me remind you, only the top 10 people will be advancing towards the second round"
But before anyone could say anything to response the words of the dragon lady, all the participant in the plane could feel that the ground they are standing on were shaking
"Look! the beasts are coming this way" A person said as he pointed toward a certain direction
"The beasts are also coming from here" Said another person pointing towards another decision
"Brother, the beasts are coming from the 2 directions, we should fight it back to back" Tang Lina said to her brother
"Got it!" Tang Jun replied as he slashed toward the coming beast in front of him

After 2 hours of fighting against the beast, all the beasts died and many youths 'died' and got teleported outside of the secret realm and only a couple of people were left
Suddenly the dragon lady was back and she said "First trial finished! The top 10 will move on towards the second round while the others will get teleported outside"
As she said that, the dragon lady snapped her fingers and all but 10 youths remain on the plane
