Miguel’s POV.

“What the f*ck do you think you two are doing?”

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw two small frames dressed in black Star Seeker mourning robes hunched next to the ‘biadh’ butcher building. There was a stench so foul to my nose I forced down a gag as I neared the women. I wrestled between verbally throttling them, throwing them over my shoulders, and running back to my cabin till they were safe, or openly praising them for their tenacity.

“Holy sh*t, Miguel, you scared the life out of me!” Nora said in a hushed yell. She kept a hand on the back of our Luna who was bent over in an attempt to catch her breath.

“Are you two completely out of your mind?” I asked hunching down in front of Adel. “What do you think you’re going to do?”
