Chapter 26: Troublemaking Siblings I
"Nice to meet you, Shizuka-san, thanks for taking care of my brother until now".
I told Lucy to introduce herself to Shizuka in the most believable way possible. Why then are you standing in front of her early in the morning, wearing her pyjamas as if you have been living here for two months?
This girl is taking the piss.
"Eh, ah? Brand-chan?" Obviously, Shizuka was confused, she looked at me not knowing what to do or say, she's my carer, which means if my parents had sent someone... they would have told her first instead of me.
You know what, fuck it.
"It is as you see, Shizuka... forget the nonsense she said, Lucy is a friend of mine who will be staying with us from now on, she will pose as my younger sister," I said, at least that way I'm not lying to Shizuka either.
Lucy looked at me with clear refusal, possibly due to the 'younger sister' bit.
"When did you meet her?" Shizuka asked, frowning towards Lucy.
"... I met her a few days ago".
"What do you mean a few days ago?!"
"A few days ago... and she has nowhere to stay, so... I'll have her here living with us posing as my sister, don't ask a question, yes?" I hugged Shizuka tightly, I know she'd have no issue but her role in all this is also to be my carer, she takes this job seriously... partly...
"Brand-chan, are you being mischievous again? and you Lucy-san..." Shizuka wasn't convinced, it wasn't until Lucy took her hands and placed them on her cheeks, that stars seemed to appear in Shizuka's eyes.
"I'm Brand's partner, it is difficult to explain but yes, I'm like his adoptive older sister. will you take care of me, Onee-sama?"
This bitch is a manipulator too, the next thing I saw was Shizuka hugging Lucy tightly, refusing to let go and rubbing their cheeks together.
"Younger or older?~"
"Older" she said.
"Younger" I countered, not giving up. There must be proper hierarchy here, she's my summon!
"I'll shoot you." She threatened me as if I'm afraid of that.
There seemed to be sparks between us as Shizuka giggled and brought Lucy to the washroom.
"Let's take a shower~ Brand-chan, you can't come in~" Shizuka said upon seeing me discard my shirt.
"Why the fuck no?" I complained... first I'm not allowed in my toilet, and now I'm not allowed in my shower?
"Because I will shoot you, Brand..." She didn't take out the gun right here, but this girl is not playing around, are you a net runner or a rogue, which of the two? I'll show you one day that your butt is not big enough to cushion the spanking I'm going to give you. As I saw the two of them swaying their butts towards the washroom, I doubted my assessment.

Shizuka drove me to school, she knows I am angry at not being naked with two beauties inside the shower, so she kissed me at every red light to compensate.
We arrived at school and each of us went our own ways, I was greeted by Miyamoto and her group, but Takagi didn't since she doesn't greet me when I arrive, never... she does so when we're going to rest. I don't know why.
For this whole month, there is a teacher whose guts I rather hate, Kyoko Hayashi.
She entered the room, her breast swaying left and right, her glare fixed on me as if I were the delinquent of the classroom, which I am.
Behind her, there was someone else, and I don't know why I didn't expect it.
"Introduce yourself, Mercer-san, I hope you're not as troublesome as your brother," the teacher said to the newcomer, a beautiful girl whose countenance attracted everyone in the class. The boys wanted her, the girls hated her.
Who else could it be?
"Thanks, Kyoko-sensei you don't need to worry, I will put my useless brother back on track. My name is Lucy Mercer, everyone… pleased to meet you all, I'm that hooligan's older sister" she pointed at me with the most insulting introduction ever, yes... she's smirking, she knows she's messing around with me.
What she doesn't know is that I'll get back at her, I always do.
"What do you mean older? I'm the older one" I stated right away, her disadvantage is that everyone in this classroom is looking at me as if I'm satan, my words hold more weight than hers. Lucy is twenty years old... but I'll never admit her older than me. My body is seventeen but my mind is twenty-five.
"Don't listen to his nonsense, I'll be counting on you from now on~".
"Welcome Lucy-chan!"
"You're so pretty!"
"Are you American too? I-I have never seen anyone with hair like that!"
She quickly became everyone's acquainted… staining my reputation further amidst the masses, so shameless. Does she plan to antagonise me?
"To think you have such a pretty sister, Brand". Takashi said, earning a pout from Rei who also looked at me as if to see what my reaction would be.
"If you ogle at my sister, I'll break all your bones".
"G-Got it".
"Are you a sis-con, Brand-kun?" Rei sat beside me and asked with a giggle, I saw that due to her proximity, both Takashi and Hisashi were shooting me gazes filled with apprehension, they know if I want her, there is nothing they can do. Thankfully for them, I don't.
Takagi is also sending me an odd glance, I know I know... our promise.
"No, but she's a huge bro-con," I said out loud.
"Oe, Brand… stop ruining my reputation so early in the morning," Lucy said from across the room, seriously... how can you be so pretty but also so roguish?
"What did you say? do you want a salad of fists or something, huh?" I stood up and so did she, if she wants to fight it out, we can just head outside... after seeing what she's capable of I'm not about to underestimate her, maybe I'll get my ass handed to me.
Everyone around us moved to make some distance, all of them shivering as if thinking: 'They're both delinquents!'
"Please calm down you two! Lucy-san… our class should start, Brand-kun… come to me after class, I have some words to speak to you".
"Tch!" I sighed and nodded while Lucy laughed, this little bitch, I swear I will have her, I don't even understand her attitude, she said she'd help me and now here she is, ruining my reputation... not like I care, in a year there will be just chaos.
Sitting down my glare met the teacher.
This teacher, Kyoko… I don't know if she has the hots for me or just hates blondes, but what Shido was doing to Rei, she's doing to me. However, I investigated and there is nothing that ties me up to her, so what's her deal?
It all started when I beat down those dudes on the first day, I figured one of them was her family member or something, but that wasn't the case. Could it be that I'm just bad at maths? The only thing I'm good at counting is money.
After our class, we had our break and Lucy was taken away by the girls, even Rei joined them.
"Komuro… I have some words to tell you, come with me." I asked him as he was about to head to the cafe together with Hisashi.

"Shit, Komuro's dead" the gossiping started.
"Bro, what's the problem? You can tell me here" Komuro waved his hands, he wanted me to speak about Rei here.
"I can't… come to the back of school after class," I said offhandedly walking to the rooftop where I usually eat with Saya.
"He's fucking dead!" The people started, seriously what's their deal? I only beat the crap out of four dudes on the first day, it is not like I have been bullying everyone.
Komuro sweated bullets while gossiping continued. What are they talking about? breaking bones? twisting jaws? I'm just going to fulfil what I promised Saya.
The girl pulled my hand and whispered in my ear.
"A-Are you going to beat him up?" She asked with concern, standing up to go eat with me.
"Why do you think that too? can't I just call someone to talk?"
"…" she released me, gulping.
"It is just... forget it, you're right, just make sure to smash some sense into that idiot".
