Chapter 206: Want to make me slave?

The middle-aged soldier stopped himself before he could attack me, his eyes turning completely red with anger and embarrassment at my lack of response. I observed my surroundings and noticed that all the soldiers had white hair and fair skin like elves; there was no doubt they were Hamans. "They look like Luna, but at the same time, they feel very distinct from each other. I wonder what their princess looks like?"

A soldier behind the middle-aged man approached him with a sinister smile. "Captain, look at this child. He looks lost and doesn't belong here. We should take him with us and sell him to a slave trader for not answering you. We can even make some profit. What do you think?"

The middle-aged man glanced at him with a satisfied smile, nodding in agreement with his suggestion. Then, he shifted his gaze to me and sneered, "Get your ass over here, you brat. Your life is going to hell from now on."

I exhaled a sigh and walked over to the middle-aged soldier, though they were unaware that I had overheard their conversation about selling me into slavery for a mere profit. The soldier seemed surprised to see me approach him without hesitation, a smile appearing on his face as he began to speak. "So, you have the audacity to become my slave? Do you think I'm foolish enough to accept you—"

I cut him off mid-sentence and spoke assertively, "Shut your F#cking mouth! I don't want to hear your trash talk. Take me to your princess. I need to speak with her."

"What did he just say?"

"He said 'F#ck' to the captain!"

"He's dead! No one survives the captain's wrath. Once he gets angry, there's no way the person will see the next sunrise."

The soldiers erupted in anger, some feeling pity for my audacity to insult their captain. The middle-aged soldier finally lost his composure as veins bulged across his face. "You f#cking piece of sh#t! How dare you call me that? I showed you some mercy as a kid, but you've forced me to change my mind!"

His fury reached its peak, unable to bear the shame from an unknown boy who had appeared out of nowhere.

"Captain, wait! You don't have to kill him. Just beat him enough that he'll beg for mercy!" The soldier behind the middle-aged man spoke, turning to me with a sneer.

The middle-aged man took deep breaths, his rage simmering. He glanced at his men before advancing towards me. "You bastard, you're not going anywhere. I'll beat you until you regret your insolence, brat!"

He handed his spear to his man and approached me, a chuckle escaping his lips as he saw me standing my ground. With a swift motion, he sent a punch towards me, but to his surprise, I grabbed his fist before he could strike me.

All the soldiers surrounding us were stunned to see me stop the captain's punch in mid-air. I held onto his fist firmly, feeling the bones within his hand begin to fracture. Despite his pain, he trembled and attempted to shake me off, but I didn't let go.

"Leave me, you bastard! If you don't, you'll be dead!" he threatened, his voice strained with pain.

I chuckled at his sudden change from rage to fear. "Didn't you say you wanted to beat me? Well, go on then. Let's see how you plan to do that. Or are you afraid to embarrass yourself in front of your soldiers?" I taunted, tightening my grip on his hand before releasing it, causing him to cry out in agony.

"You f#cking bastard, you've destroyed my hand! You're a demon, kill him now!" he shouted, inciting his men to attack.

"Don't let that demon escape! Kill him!"

The soldiers charged at me from all directions, brandishing their spears. Some had previously shown me pity, but now they were all united against me for injuring their captain.

I assessed the situation, considering my options carefully. "Should I kill them? If I do, I'll become an enemy of Haman... Well, if I beat them as a corrupted guard, that might suffice."
