Chapter 19: Illness
Sora and his father-in-law tried many blows with the lightsabers, Sora was of course holding back as his father-in-law wasn't strong or fast enough to keep up with him. but his swordsmanship skills would improve at high speed, allowing him to keep up with Sora's swordsmanship growth thanks to his high intelligence
But the battle had to come to an end as Sora undead gave him some important information which he went to go tell Emily. The information was about the city and those who lived there. it was humans and seemed to be most likely humans of our world.
but caused Sora to tell Emily this was one of the humans who had a powerful ability that might be troublesome to deal with. [DoubleGanger] an ability which allows a person to make a perfect clone of something, an S+ grade ability which only had a few weaknesses.
this was the leader of the city, a man capable of instantly creating an army of himself, and that army to go on to create another army of themselves. this was a troublesome ability, and Sora wanted his hands on it. for him, Sora would make sure his ants eat this ability.
By then it has been a month since the first blood rain, and everyone seems to have settled into this new world. Sora has been having a hard time trying to rank up, what annoyed Sora the most was that he needed more crystals than others. even Emil found herself needing more crystals than others, it seemed like the ability she gained or her stats allowed her to fight ranks above herself was slowing her down.
Anyways, Sora at the speed of light shot towards the city, where he summoned an undead, and to say the least he would not need to trouble with this. Emily stayed back, where she rubbed she covered her mouth before she coughed up some blood, Emily's HP suddenly dropped by 10, and her max HP also did the same, going from 98/98 to 78/88.
"You're medications, I thought you said you brought it?" Emily's father said in a panic seeing this scene, Emily said nothing as she looked at the blood in her palm.
"It evolved, the medication is no longer effective," Emily said weakly, stunning him. Emily has been sick, most of her childhood was her staying indoors because she was too weak to do anything else outside. So, her children were filled with her reading books and other stuff. her parents didn't like phones much, they believed it was a way for the government to spy on them, As for TV being a way to spy on them, she had them but they were all older models. So, it was mostly manga, books, and other stuff for Emily.
With how rich her family was, they were able to get her the help she needed, allowing her to start going to school.
"I guess I should have traded for the medication for this thing before anything else," Emily said softly. She shook her head and went to take a sample of her blood, with how quickly the tech was improving, finding Medication to cruel her shouldn't be that hard.
So, Sora undead got a new task to work with. but with all of the plants they could make and such, creating the medication wouldn't be hard... at least that's what they thought, this illness Emily got had evolved, and was feeding off her life force to grow stronger,
Sora had returned a long ago, Sora killed one clone and turned it into an undead, while at the same time having a space mage seal off the whole space, allowing him to quickly kill off all the clones. eve a clone that should have disappeared upon death was turned into an undead,
Anyway, the Queen Bee and Ant Queen ate these countless clones, Sora allowing for cloning ants to be born along with cloning bees. since the two queens had reached rank 9, they could give birth to ants and bees faster than before, plus they could give birth to higher rank bees and ants than them if they were given enough energy, which they shall get thanks to the cloning ants that shall clone themselves for them to eat, and use them to give birth
and say, the Queen bee can now eat other lifeforms and its offspring shall have the characteristics of what she eats.
Anyways, Sora ignored everything else to be with his wife. there were a few things in this world that made his cold and undead heart beat. his wife and child stood at the top of that, the thought of them disappearing would mean his humanity dying with them.
Emily tried to trade for the heath of something else, trade the sickness away, but since the sickness had a will of its own, she needed the sickness to agree with the deal, which she couldn't get to do.
"You should be expanding our land, and not be locked away with me," Emily said calmly while looking at Sora who was sitting on a bed, using the force to control a book to float in front of him to read.
"Since when were you the boss of me?" Sora asked with a raised eyebrow, to which Emily rolled her eyes. Sora chose to spend as much time as he had with her, just in case there was no cruel,
"I never knew the Force was so powerful. the basic is Control, Control is centered on the user's own self and body. If I could fully master this, I could do things like heal organs, or even control my Perception, allowing me to have more time to think and react." Sora said with a smile, making Emily's eyebrow raise as this was something she didn't know
"The second part is called Senses. Sense focuses on the user's perception of the world around them and allows them to immerse themselves within it. With this, I could see the future, a sense of coming danger, and traumatic events. this is where telepathy comes into play. with the more complex stuff being flow walking, the power to travel to and view the past and future." Sora said softly
"And lastly Alter. Alter involves influencing other beings and actively manipulating the world around the user. This would give me stuff mind manipulation, create weapons through the force, teleport, control space-time, and so on." Sora said softly as he tapped the air in front of him, creating a small hole in place
"You already reached that far?" She asked to which Sora nodded slightly, After all, his stats were just so high. having a few days to train was more than enough for him to not only master the force but also do things that no force user could do,
"So, you can time travel?" She asked, to which Sora shook his head,
"I tried, but space and time are getting more and more harder to control. with so many worlds coming together, the force got stronger, but in return, it got harder to control. the rules of space-time are also changing, which isn't shocking as these other worlds must have different rules that govern them. Now, skill alone isn't the requirement for time travel, it seems like some degree of strength is needed." Sora said to which Emily looked at him with a sigh,
Sora didn't need to say anything for her to understand what he wanted to do with that time-traveling nonsense, most likely to send the cruelty the undead had made to the past before her illness was so strong.
She got up and went on lying next to Sora, She was calm about all of this, Sora was more hurt about all of this than she was.
"So, since I'm so weak and helpless. Can you tell me why you don't have a last name? It's not something like Sora Adolf or something." She said with a smile, to which Sora gave her a dead plan look. his last name? he didn't have one
"You should be trying to reach rank 5 first." She said softly, to which Sora said nothing. the whole reason he wanted to rank up as quickly as possible was to protect his loved one. Emily sighed softly before she kissed Sora, It was a short kiss, but it was enough to allow something to rise. the two looked at each other, and for the first time in a while, Emily saw the most human-like look Sora gave...
"You beat me to rank 5, yet I beat you to rank 6... You should have beaten me to rank 7." A few days later, William threw a crystal into the sky, which he caught, and swallowed. allowing him to rank up to rank 7, but upon doing so his eyebrow raised seeing he was the first person to do
"This makes no sense. unlike he got himself killed, which is highly unlikely, he should have reached rank 7 first... Unless Emily's sickness kicked in, or some Gate opened up which is giving him great trouble. but Emily being sick should be the most likely choice. but could my actions have had such a huge impact? if she does so easily and Sora loses his humanity this easily back," William gritted his teeth, it was more than 100,000 miles from where he believed Sora should be,
He remembered the curel of Emily's illness, it was only created a few years after her death, but by then it was too late. the whole reason he hated Sora was due to the event that followed after Emily's death.
Sora was not a strategist, thats why he had Emily do all the thinking. once Emily disappeared, Sora would become an undead and take over the role of a strategy. an undead, something that cares little for living behind and simply looking for the best way to do its job.
Sora's family was the only thing holding him back from fully casting away his humanity, but once they were gone, a rule of undead, swallowed this world, taking over countless continents.
"No... hopefully he got a powerful ability, one thats slowing him down... damn." Williman gritted his teeth before going out to find someone. he was in Japan, and as soon as he went out he was met with many people from others and many from this world. among them were Tsunade, Hinata, and Mei from the world of Naruto, who had joined his harem, and any other anime character who had joined the harem.
He nodded towards them and quickly made his way towards a bad part of Japan, where he cut off the neck of someone who had been getting on his nerves. He pulled out the guy's soul and walked off, where he went on to use the guy's blood to create a pool of blood. around the pool of blood, he went on to write down a few runes, and slowly an image formed within the blood
there, he saw Sora's territory, and the sight he saw caressed his soul to almost leave his body. why were there so many rank 9 undead, even the Pokemon that had a peak rank of 8 were at rank 9. He controlled the image, having it land on Emily, who was currently lying in bed with a pale face,
"It's too far for me to teleport the way to cruel the illness to him..." He said before he thought of what he should do, in the end, there was nothing he could do to stop this. his actions of coming second led to this, and now the knowledge of the future was going to become pointless.
