Chapter 6: Chapter 6: First Fight
[You activated Camouflage]
My body turned slightly greenish brownish as it blended into the rocks nearby the crab.
I'm not exactly sure the limits of both my <Camouflage> or the crabs perception but I would rather play it safe than sorry.
Thus as the orange Claw Crab continued its feast upon the moss on the rock, a scene played out where another rock was gradually approaching it to avenge its brother.
In terms of combat capabilities the octopus has 3 main forms of attack.
First of all, obviously they have their arms or tentacles which they can use to grab and tangle their prey to gradually wear them out and eat them with their beak.
Octopi also have their ink which they can use to disorientate and confuse both prey and predator which can help them find food and escape when in danger.
Finally octopi also have their camouflage capabilities which can allow them to ambush their prey or hide.
Naturally, as I am already on somewhat low health, I'm probably going to have to use a combination of all three of my abilities to take it down.
Not that I wouldn't if I wasn't low health. I don't want to die after all!
As I gradually approach the crab and get closer and closer until I am close enough to even touch it, I use my first ability!
[You activated Ink Cloud!]
A blast of what looks like black fog flew out from my body and directly onto the feeding crab.
Yuck! This stuff still smells and tastes as bad as I can remember!
The crustacean immediately began to thrash about in confusion from its disrupted meal as I dashed in to attempt to deal some damage in.
[You activated Tentacle Grab!]
Tentacles and claws met although the later didn't know this at first as I used 4 of my tentacles to immediately latch on a drag down the 2 biggest threat to me at the moment, the claws.
After practicing swimming around more I finally managed to have some form of control over all of my arms at this point.
I say some form because in this situation the main thing that I'm doing is pointing them at the claw's while they simple latch on and do their own thing.
While yeah I'm not actually controlling them, it means I can focus on actually killing this thing!
My 4 remaining arms are used to both restrain the crab's legs and attack its eye's which I consider its most likely weak point.
Bam!
As 2 of my arms wrap around both eye stalks of the crab, it begins thrashing even more violently as it realizes that it truly is being attacked!
Clack! Clack!
As I pulled as I pulled and constricted my arms I realized that I wasn't really doing any serious damage to this thing!
How unfair is this? This guy has literal natural armor, and I get a few extra arms!?
This world is biased dammit!
Well lucky I'm not your normal octopus you stupid crab! I'm an octo-genius!
I detach 2 of my arms from restraining its legs and focus a full 3 arms on pulling out a single eye stock!
RIIIPPPPPP!
The eye stock tore clean off of the crabs head as I stared on in amazement!
I DID IT!
I ACT-
The gleeful octopus was nearly thrown off of the crab's back as it reared itself in pain and confusion.
Because of its sudden movements, part of the already dissipating ink cloud was flushed away as the crab could suddenly see again! At least through its one remaining eye.
[You activated Ink Cloud!]
Another blob of black gas was released right on top of the crabs back as it.
Ha! As if I'd let you see again!
I'm not letting you go till you need a fellow support shrimp to act as your eye seeing shrimp (dog)!
The octopus threw away the eye it had ripped out and grabbed onto the remaining eye stock with renewed vigor.
Heave, HO!
SCHLICK!
The other eye stock was yet again torn out as it could not sustain itself against the strength of 3 tentacles.
BAM!

Huh?
I was hit?
I look at the claw that hit me and saw that that of the three tentacles which I had used to restrain it, 1 of them was cut off!
WHAT!?
When did I lose one of my limbs!?
I didn't even feel anything!?
The remaining two tentacles had detached and were now simply coiling around one another leaving the blinded crab claw to finally see (hehe) some action!
Crap!
Since I've already torn out both of this things eye's I thought that the fight was over!
But I never expected that my own tentacles would betray me!
Schloop!
My 3 arms which I had used on the eyes all went towards the free claw to restrain it yet again.
Luckily I managed to tangle the claw again as it wasn't too capable of reaching towards its back, and I simple squeezed the crab as I waited for it to succumb to it's injuries.
Screee!
Huh!
Since when the hell could crabs make noises?!
The dying crab had already lost much of its strength and gave out one last defiant cry before its movements gradually stopped.
