Chapter 14: This people are... boring. Lets find some good items!
I walk and walk around E-rantel
After some time i find myself in a pretty weird mood, because... this city is too normal and boring...
While i was still trying to find seomeone interesting, a certain black knight witha red cape appears around the corner
"Heeey momon!" I ran at him while shouting
Momon: ...
"Can you draw less attention please? Im starting to infiltrate as an adventurer" The stoic Ainz answers
"How dare you treat Ainz-sama this way?!" An angry Nabe shouts at me, ready to start a fight
"Nabe, calm down. Its an order" Ainz put a hand in her shoulder and says
"Understood"
I was standing there... watching them.
"So, what are your plans now after acting as an adventurer?"
"I plan to reach the maximum rank as fast as posible, that way i can get access to all the information i want" Ainz answers
"Mmm... okay, good luck, i will be traveling the world" After saying goodbye, i start to travel again
I decided to go to the Empire
While teleporting i suddednly stop
'Ainz is the most interesting one and the others are in Nazarick... Why bother to find more people?'
After thinking about this i suddendly get a great idea
'Why dont i try to find some world items? That would be interesting. If what the novel says is true, then world items are the embodiment of the laws in the form of objects, as they can change this world rules forever' The more i think about it the more i like the idea
'Well, i dont know where they are so i will just make a floating marker pointing to the nearest World Item not registered in Nazarick' While thinking i create an arrow. The arrow points to the North
"To the north, then"
I start my new adventure going to the north

Deep in the north, almost at the end of the continent where a giant ocean goes without end
I follow the arrow and find a cave
The cave goes veeery deep, almost reaching the core of the world. How? I dont know. Dangerous? You bet it is
As you go deep into the cave, the surrounding temperature is rising.
After almost reaching the end the temperature is so high that even a level 50 will combust in an instant
I keep walking when a giant door appears in front of me
'This... is obviosly a boss room. Lets enter'
After waving my hand, the door start opening slowly on its own
At the center of the room was a red spiral spear floating above an altar
The spear has the form of a spiral that ends in two spearheads
I gaze around to see if the boss is reaby...
'Nothing?' I thought
'Lets try to take it, maybe thats the trigger for the fight' I walk to the altar
When i was about to touch the spear a giant tremor interrupts me
'So it was really a trigger event? This world is really like a game'
The boss room door close by itself and torches light up the entire room
At the end of the room was another giant door with chains, making it unable to be opened
Suddednly the gate is rammed by something from the other side, making the chains to have some cracks
'So this is the buffer time so the players can get in formation and buff themselves?'
After about 5 minutes of ramming the door, it finally opens
What appears before me is a giant red demon, it has 2 horns and what appears to be wings bones on his back
"Get away from my spear! Only i, Longinus can wield it!" The so called longinus charges at me
I simply teleport to the side while gazing him
'Longinus? wasnt he a saint? why is he a demon now?'
I gaze at his status

Longinus then pick up his spear, making it bigger when he touch it
Now the spear is as giant as a tree
'Lets have some fun with a pretty bad ass spell of Ainz'
{Grasp Soul} i cast while making a grab motion with my hand. This is the next level of Ainz {Grasp Heart}. This spell grab and crush the soul of the target, bypassing such things as being able to live without heart, like the demons who has many hearts and also bypass instant death resistance.
The demon feels something grabing his very soul... then he cries in pain as its getting crushed
"GAAAAAAH"
The demon screams in pain and then fall to the floor, to never move again
"Well, that was pretty badass... i think"
I reach him and pick up the spear, then I cast the analysis system on it

I put my hand on it and then cast some blessings to cleanse the curse

I think while storing Longinus in my convenient storage space, which i created along with the system

The arrow above my head starts to spin and then stops, pointing at south-east

While Rob was finding World items, Ainz is working on his first mission as a new adventurer
'Mmm? I feel like... someone got something that cant be used... this feeling...' Ainz starts to think
After thinking about it, Ainz remember something buried in his mind after many years of gaming.
'Even if i couldnt feel it before as it was a game. The only time a global message obtaining something was when a guild obtained the world item Longinus' AInz finally remember and connect the feeling to this
'Could it be that someone got that item again? in this world? This is bad, that thing can destroy anyone as long as the user is firm enough to do it' A concerned Ainz tought while they where traveling to the mission

"Albedo, make haste and hide the most important people of nazarick, dont let them go to the outside for any reason, as a new user of Longinus has appear" Ainz contacts Albedo
"Yes Ainz-Sama, i hope that you as well can come back to safety, anyone can be a target for Longinus" Albedo answers with respect and concern, as Ainz can also be erased by said world item
"Yes, after this mission i will cancel the Momon the Adventurer plan"
After that, Ainz tries to speed the mission so he can go back faster

I was walking and walking, when i finally found some ruins
'I think this is like a giant magic tower in ruins?'
A very huge magic tower stand before me, its like a skyscraper of stone
'Now its a many floors dungeon? I hate those, this is gonna take a while'
I enter the tower and find myself in front of a door. The door has some letters floating on its center
" 'If you can reach the top of the tower then you will get all of the knoledge in the world' ... thats it? Isnt this like a normal dungeon? Of course i think it will be harder but... how can nobody claimed this? ... The only answer is that this tower came to this world along with players at soem point in time" I read those words and starts to think, then i open the door
"Lets go up then"

Magic Tower Ruins. Floor 85
"Really?! How the fuck can someone build a 85-story tower in medieval time?! Even with magic this is absurd!" I say with an angry face as i keep goign up after killing the floor mobs

"Finally... the last one, i hope"
I finally reach the 100 floor, at the end of it its a bookend with a dusty book. Also at the center of the room is a giant statue of an angel
'So, an angel this time as a boss? really?'
I start to get closer to the staue... and then it starts to tremble
The statue gains more cracks as more time pass
5 minutes later, the statue breaks and a holy light descends. A giant angel with 6 pairs of wings appears. It has a fire sword in one hand and a holy shield in the other.
Lets see if this is more powerfull or the last demon is

'Lets see what reaction he has after seeing Longinus' I tought and then take out the spear
Michael visibly flinch after seeing Longinus
"You... where did you get that?! Thats not a weapon a mortal can possees! You will die after using it!" A little scared michael said, as Longinus can even remove him from existence, bypassing his immortality
"Lets try then, Guardian of the Forbidden, Michael" I stand in a spearman stance
"You fool! You will only die and wont get anything!" Michael makes a giant holy shield to protect him, then puts his shield up and cast more and more blessings on himself
"Lets see who dies first" I charge at him then shouts
"Longinus!" After shouting, the golden Longinus starts to shine. I target michael and throw the spear at him
The spear flies directly to Michael, breaking every holy shield it touch
"NO!" Michael shouts and puts more divine enery on his defenses
The spear keeps piercing, then finally pierce Michael torso
"You... you will kill me... but at what cost..." Then he starts to dissapear like he never existed, still thinking that i will die after using the spear
'Wow that was pretty epic, lets go to see the so called Forbidden knowledge'
I finally reach the World item Nameless Book of Spells
I cast identify on it

'Well this is the most OP item for mages i have ever seen... although right now its not that good, it has the potential to become the most powerfull item in existence' I thought while looking at the 1% on the info screen
'I think im mostly ready with the world items, except for the one who controlls Shalltear, thats a free one. After all, the others are not that interesting, like one to create NPC; others to change race, another to change the magic system of the world... i can do that easly and they arent object to use in battle' Then i teleport outside the tower
I think now its time for Ainz vs Shalltear...
While i was thinking that, Ainz receive news that Shalltear Bloodfallen betrayed them

I wanted to take the world items for future uses! Although the MC can do what the items do, they are pretty useful for other people! Also, after i think... 2 chapters i will end the arc of overlord, as the most interesting thing is Ainz and wolrd items... i think
