I looked over the group of people. The male was significantly older than the females. Six females. Behind those females were younger males and females. Four of which backed her mother. These four were the only ones actually related to my mate. It was clear just by looking over the group. Aiden did not share blood with my Ava.

Their smiles as they saw her were anything but kind. Ava was injured but even so her body had taken on a similar stance. Their faces shifted. A few narrowed eyes at Ava.
