Chapter 35: XXXV

As Aiden carried my Anima outside I was left to stare after them. Kinky? Power trip? Testing? What testing? My mind choose to latch onto that. I pushed myself to my feet and followed behind them. Ava was laughing from where she hung over Aiden's shoulder. This close I realized how much shorter he is than me. He was taller than Ava but not by much. Then again all the Humans I had met were shorter than me. 

He shifted her into his arms when she began to squirm on his shoulder. "You could at least let me put on a shirt," she said. Once again I felt like the odd man out. 

"It will be fine. No one else in this village is wearing clothes."
