Chapter 42: Iron Man 1

"Okay, but let Pepper know that we may have problems, leave a way prepared for her and Hogan to leave quickly and for Pepper to be prepared in case something happens," said Jack.

Tony had no problem with that, he trusted Jack and only did not prevent Justin Hammer from making the presentation at the Stark Expo because he could not, of course, if Jack had any proof Tony could refuse.

The day of Justin Hammer's presentation arrived, Jack had left 10 clones of himself wearing the Iron Man armor prepared to come to the Stark Expo in a few seconds flying, one of Jack's clones was already by Tony's side as a bodyguard and Jack himself had come that night.

Jack soon saw Tony and Pepper coming together and behind them were Happy Hogan and Natasha. Jack looked at Natasha, who was ignoring him pretending not to see him. Tony had brought her because he knew that a spy was useful if something happened.

Jack didn't care about that and greeted everyone who had come with Tony. Jack was wearing the clothes he used to fight under his suit, this time without the bulletproof vest that would not be useful against the weapons of the armor that Tony used.

Jack created a clone of himself that would escape along with Pepper, Natasha, and Happy, so he could hide his identity from ordinary people.

So he was prepared to fight, Jack had bought a new jutsu that was expensive and cost 100,000 FP, but it was a jutsu that had been tested and would be very useful tonight.

Some time ago, Jack discovered while improving his Chakra control that even though he only had to buy basic Chakra, he also had a talent for an element, after all, everyone who had Chakra had talent in at least one element.

So he took the test and saw that he had a talent for the lightning element, which Jack most wanted to learn even if he had to use FP in the future, perhaps that was why the system had given him that element.

That's why Jack bought the Raiton Chakura Mōdo jutsu, which was only a B-rank jutsu, but it was expensive because it came with the user experience of the Third and Fourth Raikage.

With this jutsu, the user envelops their body in a layer of lightning chakra that, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate the user's nervous system. The technique accelerates neural synapses to react more quickly and pushes physical dexterity to the absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed.

This layer of chakra surrounding the user also acts as armor that makes the user's body almost invulnerable. Of course, the main requirement for this technique is extensive training with lightning striking the body, extreme chakra control, and a large amount of chakra.

With this technique, Jack could fight against much stronger enemies and be much faster than most heroes, but it only increased his speed while Jack was fighting on the ground. While flying, his speed would not be increased.

Unfortunately, Jack might have to fight against airborne armor, so he couldn't use his increased speed. In addition, despite having a large amount of chakra, he was using his clones, so the technique wouldn't be as strong.

However, since Jack had acquired the experience of the Third and Fourth Raikage, he could use a smaller amount of chakra to only use the armor and increase his defense and reinforce his body.

With this, Jack could use the Infernal Stab, which consists of concentrating an absurd amount of lightning chakra into a single hand and striking as if executing the Chidori.

So Jack believed that he could withstand some blows from the Iron Man armor and could use the Infernal Stab to cut through the Hammer Drones. Jack hoped that, like in the movie, the Hammer Drones would have less defense than the Iron Man armor.

Without forgetting that despite his limited Chakra, he could still use magic normally, unlike during the fight against the Sinister Six where he had to hold back and couldn't use his most powerful magic.

In the months of magic training and using his clones to read magic books, Jack had learned the most powerful magic that Doctor Strange used in the comics, and he had become proficient in using them by reading books on magic theory.

That's why Jack no longer needed to leave his clones to study magic books. He let them study normally about the Earth in the Marvel universe, which was different from what he knew.

Jack also studied other things such as mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, and various subjects that he might need in the future. After all, without the Iron Man suit, the clones' most significant utility was studying.

Soon Justin Hammer's presentation began. He started by saying that Tony was selfish and did not share the technology of the Iron Man suit with the rest of the world. He claimed that if Tony did so, thousands of soldiers' lives would be saved.

To prevent human life losses on the battlefield, Hammer introduced his new lines of Hammer Drones, each representing a branch of the US Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

Tony, who was watching the presentation, began to get tense. He quickly realized that Jack might think something like this would happen and wanted to prevent Justin Hammer from making the presentation.

Pepper and Hogan quickly got up as Tony had warned them to leave quickly if something like this happened. Natasha was the only one who didn't know anything, but she still followed Pepper and Happy, even though she was curious about how Justin Hammer had managed to manufacture suits similar to Iron Man's.

Pepper and Happy left quickly and got into a prepared car. Natasha didn't know why they were leaving but got into the car with them to investigate what was going on.

This was what Jack had agreed with Tony. Jack had said that perhaps Tony was the target of the enemy, and that's why he had to stay at the presentation while Pepper and Happy left. As soon as their car left, Tony also left with Jack to get away from the Stark Expo.

As Jack had predicted, the Hammer Drones began to activate just as they were leaving. Jack's clone, wearing the Iron Man suit, stood in front of Tony, and Jack switched places with his clone, taking off his suit and putting on his mask.
